“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” —John 3:16
Oh! listen my friend... God loves you! Many people today blame God for the problems in this world. They see suffering children and ask, “How could a loving God allow this evil?” I used to ask the same thing. Yet, as difficult as it is for us to understand, we know from the Scriptures that it was Adam's sin that brought this curse upon us (Romans 5:12). 1st John 3:8 gives us the answer, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
Jesus Christ, the Godhead incarnate (i.e., in the flesh), came to this earth to set us free from the chains of sin. 1st John 3:18 plainly states that the suffering in the world today is caused by demonically inspired men and women. If you want to know the truth behind the evils our U.S. government has been committing for decades, then come with me to Bohemian Grove. Now, is God to blame because our nations top leaders worship the Devil, and do his will, by murdering the innocent and operating pedophile rings. It's the Devil behind the misery in this world, and the people that serve him; not God.
God loves you! In fact, God loves you so much that He came to this earth, in the form of a man (Jesus Christ), and allowed Himself to be crucified for your sins and mine. Christ shed His blood for our sins (1st Peter 1:18-19). I recently read a quote from an Atheist's website which said... “Jesus loves you, but then again he loves everybody.” Fool! How dare anyone insult the Creator of the universe by mocking His love for mankind. There's NO such thing as an Atheist. Romans 1:21 states, “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” There is much ingratitude today towards God, for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us undeserving sinners.
The fact that Jesus loves everybody doesn't in any way diminish His love for us as individuals. Jeremiah 1:5 states, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Before Jeremiah was ever conceived, God knew who he was, and had a purpose for Jeremiah's life before he was born. This Scripture clearly indicts and condemns the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe vs. Wade ruling that an unborn child is not a life. Oh yes it is! Abortion is first-degree murder!!!
“God loves you. It doesn't make any difference who you are. You can't keep Him from loving you. Now you can get into a place where you won't experience the love of God. When you put up an umbrella of sin, the sunshine of God's love sure won't fall on you. But it's still there for you.”

Yes, God does love everybody, so much that He keeps track of the very number of hairs on your head... “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows” (Luke 12:7). This is difficult for many people to grasp, that a Divine Being could be so powerful and omniscient as to keep track of such minute details. There is absolutely nothing hidden from the eyes of the Lord (Mark 4:22). We read in Proverb 5:21, “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.” God is watching you, and me, and everyone else upon the earth. Luke 12:6 tells us that God keeps track of the birds and animals in this world, for they are His creation and handiwork (Psalm 19:1).
How much more, Jesus asked, shall the Father care for us... “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” (Matthew 6:28-30). God cares about you more than you could ever possible know. The problem is not that God has stopped loving man; but that man has never started loving God. It is man's sin that ruins everything.
Real Bible love is not loving only the lovely; but rather, it is loving the ugly as well as the lovely. Most people don't like someone else because they were mistreated by that person. That's synthetic love. Real Bible love is not based on the condition of the object; it's based upon the condition of the lover. Real Bible love is not loving just the lovable; it is loving the unlovable as well as the lovable. True love is based upon why I am, not who you are. I love all my web visitors. All love all humanity. Why? It is because of who I am, and I have God's love shed abroad in my heart. God doesn't love us because of who we are; but rather, because of Who He is.
On Trial Every Day
Pastor Jack Hyles, in his excellent sermon (about not putting our loved ones on trial continually for how they treat us) says...
“She loves me, she loves me not... Did you know, probably, most of the people in this house tonight—that's the way you love this preacher. I hate to say it. I hate to face it. I don't feel good about it. But you let this preacher do something that seriously crosses (now it may be, for 23 years, that practically have not, everything I've said, you didn't agree with); but you let me seriously cross you, and you'll drown 23 years of the greatest blessing any church has seen since Jesus said, 'Upon this Rock I'll build my church' and you'll ditch it all, because the preacher's on trial every second.”

We say, “God has been so good to me lately.” That means that He's always been on trial! God was always on trial with you. If God conforms to our knowledge of what's good for us, then we say that God is good. But if God doesn't conform to what we think is best for us, then we say that God is not good to us. That's the highest form of idolatry. Listen, God is good even when we lose our finances. God is still good even when we are sick and lose a limb. God is good even when tragedy strikes and our life seems to be over.
David loved Saul, even though Saul tried to kill David with a javelin. Saul hated David, repeatedly attempting to murder him. Even after Saul died, David sought for a way to honor Saul to show his love and respect for God's anointed king. Most friendships only last until one sin is committed and then they never speak to each other again. What most people falsely call “love” is mere selfish hypocrisy. That's why I tell all my web visitors, “I love you and there's nothing you can do about it.” We ought to say in our heart about all of our friends, loved ones and people under our care in the ministry, “God gave me these people and I'm going to love them no matter what they say, do or become.” Love never faileth.
“if you hate someone you used to say you love, you didn't know any more about love than the Schnauzer dog that lives at our house, because that's exactly the way he treats me. ... That dog loves me on the basis of whether I feed him or try to move him. And the truth is 90% of the people in this room tonight have the same love quotient as that Schnauzer hound dog. 'I don't love her anymore!' 'I'll never speak to him again!' 'I hate her!' Don't go to the doctor anymore, go to the veterinarian; And get you a kennel to live in; And get you some 'Gaines' biscuits. If you're going to act like a hound dog in the way you love, live like one.”

Jesus prayer to His heavenly Father, “Not my will, but Thine, be done.” As the Lord was praying, Judas came with a band of soldiers to betray and arrest Him. The Lord was falsely accused, unjustly tried and wrongfully crucified. There was not one single moment of JUSTICE for our Lord! It was unjust when a murderer (Barabbas) was released instead of the perfect and innocent Son of God. It was injustice when the soldiers beat and tormented the Lord, Who was an innocent man. Pilate unjustly condemned the Lord at the unjust request of the Pharisees. There was no justice. My friend, we are just as wicked and unjust as those Roman rulers and Pharisees when we place God on trial, deciding whether God is good to us or not based upon the conditions in our life. God is always a good God. Everything God does is right. God doesn't have love, God is love!
“There's not a single person in this house this morning, who's unsaved, but what wouldn't be saved if you realized that the Creator of the universe loves you!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, a precious quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, "How To Love God More.”
The Wrath Of Man Worketh Not The Righteous Of God
Is God to blame for our lusts, anger, selfishness, lies, and sinful pride? No, we are! 1st John 2:15-17 warns, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." The sinful world is God's enemy, and it should be ours too (James 4:4).
Most people today blame God for the consequence of sin which men bring upon themselves. When people sin, others often get hurt. 18,000 children starve to death every day in this world, while America boasts of having 8,900,000 millionaires!!! We have abandoned the poor. We are a gluttonous nation, who's richest people care not for the poor. Oh sure, they give a little pocket change to their favorite charity, but the 18,000 kids are still starving to death (while fat cats in those "non-profit" organizations make 6-digit salaries). It's sickening!!! There are 946 billionaires in this world. Who doesn't love who?
God loves the world. God loves sinners. I am tired of hearing Calvinists like Pastor Fred Phelps say that God doesn't love sinners. They claim that Jesus only died for the redeemed, and not for Christ-rejecters. The Bible puts them to silence in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Carefully notice the word WHOSOEVER. Now if Jesus only died for those who were going to one day trust Him, then why does the Bible extend an invitation to WHOSOEVER?
Whosoever means that anyone can come to Jesus Christ and be saved. Furthermore, consider 2nd Peter 2:1, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." Please notice the phrase... that bought them. Hence, Jesus paid (with His precious blood) for the sins of all false prophets. How can you argue with Romans 5:6, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
Oh! Listen my friend, God loves you no matter who you are, and no matter what you have done. He is willing to forgive you. Isaiah 1:18 states, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." The only thing keeping you from being right with God is you. Isaiah 59:1 says, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."
This is America today. We wonder why God doesn't answer our prayers, while living in unrepentant sin against God. We need to repent of our wicked hearts (Jeremiah 17:9). God wants to forgive, but we must seek His righteousness. There is no unpardonable sin which can prevent a person from coming to Jesus for forgiveness. The only unpardonable sin is blaspheming against the conviction of the Holy Spirit. If God deals with your heart, you had better yield. If you are willing to come as a guilty sinner to Christ, then you may be saved (Romans 10:13).
God loves humanity, and offers salvation to all through His Son Jesus Christ. If you die and go to Hellfire, then you will have no one to blame except yourself. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 6:23), paid for by Jesus' precious blood (1st John 1:7). Won't you believe on Christ now?
