Hollywood is straight out of the pits of Hell. A shameless and shameful 2003
film titled “BRUCE ALMIGHTY” stars Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman. God is
mocked and the Bible ridiculed throughout the film. Morgan Freeman plays God,
who grants his full power to Jim Carrey for one week. In one scene Carrey
causes a woman's skirt to rise over her head, revealing her sexy underwear.
Carrey replies, “And God saw that it was good.” The film is evil...
Bruce Almighty is a 2003 American fantasy comedy film directed by Tom Shadyac and written by Steve Koren, Mark O'Keefe and Steve Oedekerk. It stars Jim Carrey as Bruce Nolan, a down-on-his-luck TV reporter who complains to God that he isn't doing his job correctly, and is then offered the chance to try being God himself for one week. Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, Catherine Bell, Lisa Ann Walter, and Philip Baker Hall also star, while Tony Bennett makes a cameo appearance.
The holy Scriptures teach that sexual lust wars against men's souls. 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” Throughout the disgusting film Jim Carrey uses his pretend God-given film powers to fornicate with women and take vengeance against his enemies. Despite being labeled a “comedy,” God does not laugh when Christ-rejecters mock His Word (the Bible), joke about sexual immorality and desecrate things that are holy.
In one scene, Carrey orders a bowl of tomato soup in a restaurant. He then uses his powers to part the red bowl of soup (mocking the Biblical story of Moses' parting the Red Sea). CGI (Computer Generated Graphics) are used to make the soup look like it's parted down the middle of the bowl. It's not a laughing matter when wicked people joke about the things of God. Unbelieving men and women who despise, reject and question God's Word have no right to make light of the Bible, joke about holy things and mock the power of God that created the universe. It is a sin to blaspheme (vilify or make fun of) the things of God. It is sacrilegious!!!
There's no such thing as innocent good humor when Christ-rejecting heathens glorify sexual immorality. Such sins bring the wrath and judgment of a holy God according to Romans 1:32, Jude 1:7 and Colossians 3:5-6, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.” “FOR WHICH THINGS THE WRATH OF GOD COMETH ON THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE!!!” What things? Sexual sins!!! Fornication includes all sex outside of a marriage commitment. Fornication includes the sinful hookup culture in American culture today. Sadly, proper courtship is long gone! The dating scene, that is, going from one relationship to another is a lifestyle of sexual immorality. When a young woman says, “I'm not in a relationship right now,” what she really means is, “I've temporarily quit whoring around!”
Tragically, the Walt Disney corporation is one of the biggest promoters of sexual immorality amongst teenagers today. In a recent episode of The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody, Zack dresses up as a girl, promoting crossdressing. In the same episode, a young boy tells a girl to take her dress off. This is the sick twisted minds at work in Walt Disney. Anyone honest person with a brain and a sense of morality can see the abundance of sex-appeal in Walt Disney's numerous shows targeting teenagers.
Teenage boys are taught by Disney to “score” with the girls! Instead of teaching to plan on having one marriage partner for life and saving one's self (keeping pure and chaste until marriage), Disney teaches teens by TV example to fornicate. Marriage is supposed to be a lifetime marriage commitment (Hebrews 13:4-5; Matthew 19:8; Mark 10:9). American culture (including Disney) teach our youth to whore and whoremonger around until you find someone you really love, and then you make a marriage commitment. The common consensus is to use a condemn if you're not in love. Sadly, American culture has accepted the sinful idea that it's ok to have multiple sex partners outside of marriage.
KISS Rock band legend, Gene Simmons (real Jewish name: Chaim Witz) boasts of his sexual immorality. In an interview with TV Guide, Gene Simmons of the devilish Rock band, Kiss, bragged that he has had sex with 4,897 women throughout his career. I'm not judging Mr. Witz, I am simply pointing out why our children are going to the Devil. Public schools remove all mystique that is proper and normal for youth (which prevents them from growing up too quickly). The schools hand youth an unlimited supply of free condemns, encouraging them to fornicate, and then providing free secretive abortions. Was the Bible and prayer really all that bad in children's lives?
Bruce Almighty is a sinful film. The rotten producers of the film profited $484 million. Blaspheming God is a lucrative business these days. Few people truly love the Lord Jesus Christ. We're all sinners in need of the Savior. The Bible teaches in Matthew 7:13-14 that few people ever go to Heaven. Most souls are on a highway to Hell and destruction. The wicked world hates God and is hostile against Jesus Christ (John 15:19; 1st John 5:19). Americans have become disillusioned from reality. Each succeeding generation grows up starved of Biblical truth—which can only produce Godless citizens, a reprobate culture and a society devoid of God.
