Every Face Tells A Story

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise ... Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.” —Proverbs 20:1, 17


Take a good look at the photo above! This is what alcohol does! Notice in Proverb 20:1 that God speaks of the man who drinks alcohol as "DECEIVED." This Old Testament word "deceived," in Hebrew means, "to reel in." In other words, alcohol is just reeling you in, little by little, and then day, BANG!  No one in their right mind would ever wake up and say, "What a beautiful day, I think I'll have a few drinks and kill someone with my car." 

BUT IT HAPPENS! No one ever says, "I think I'll have a few drinks tonight and put someone in a wheelchair for the rest of their life." BUT IT HAPPENS! No one would ever say, "I think I'll run over a pregnant woman and kill her and her child." BUT I STOOD OVER THE DEAD BODIES AS THEY WERE LOWERED INTO THE GRAVES! I'll never forget seeing that little casket lowered into the grave as the husband wept in uncontrollable tears. A drunk man had plowed into her under the influence of beer, Liquid Devil. 


As a Dog Returns to His Vomit

I used to work with a man from Iowa. His name was Dean, a big guy. I watched him unload a truck differential (rear axle) with his bare hands. It must have weighed 300 lbs.  But Dean had a drinking problem. He told me one day that he had been sued, and that he owed $19,000. His wages were being garnished, check by check for years to come. 

He had been drinking one day with a buddy, then they went for a ride in his pickup truck, but Dean wrecked.  Dean's friend was injured pretty bad. Well, long story short, his friend sued him and won... $19,000. You'd think that people would learn, but the Bible teaches that a fool will keep repeating his foolishness (Proverb 26:11, "As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.") It wasn't but a couple months later that Dean came into work one day after having a few drinks. He was trying to cut a piece of rubber hose for a truck he was working on; but instead of cutting the hose in two, he ran the knife clear through his hand and severed his finger badly. 

Dean was off work for over a month. Day after day he would come into work, and you couldn't tell if he was in his right mind or not. You could smell liquor on his breath, but you couldn't tell if he was drunk or not. So we had to watch him closely. Just as a dog returning to eat his vomit, so did Dean continue to drink his beer.


Playing Russian Roulette

Oh listen to me friend, don't be a fool. Drinking ANY alcoholic beverage is nothing less than playing Russian Roulette. I heard on the news that comedian, Tim Allen, had been arrested for a DUI. When I used to live in Chicago, I was saddened to hear on the news that legendary TV anchorman, Walter Jacobson, had been arrested for a DUI. That pretty much ended his career. Then I heard on the news that famous singer, Glenn Campbell, had been arrested for a DUI. George W. Bush (our former shameful U.S. President complicit in the 911 attacks) has a DUI history as well. Hollywood celebrities by the hundreds, including Mel Gibson, have DUI arrests on their police record. God knows I don't condemn anybody, for we are all sinners and mess up in life. The thing about booze is that it is promoted much as a fun social activity, and yet so often has grave consequences, costing millions of lives over the past decades.

On and on the list goes... who will be next until someone gets killed. My point is simply that liquor is DECEITFUL by nature, just as God said it was in Proverb 20:1. A person can drink for many years and handle it very well, but it only take ONE TIME to end someone's life (or your own). Out of all the great beverages to drink, why play Russian Roulette (you know, that game where you spin a gun's chamber with one bullet in it, and keep taking turns firing until someone dies) with other people's lives by consuming alcohol. Alcohol is a narcotic drug, and that's a FACT!!! Alcohol is a SCHEDULE ONE drug, meaning it is highly addictive but has no medicinal purpose. SCHEDULE TWO drugs, like Oxycontin and Vicodin, are highly addictive, but do have medicinal uses as pain killers.

Denise Wagoner (above horrifying photos) didn't die in the above alcohol-related car accident, but probably wishes she had at the time. She was drinking and driving. This is but one horrific tragedy, one of the millions of victims who DIDN'T die but will suffer for the rest of their lives because of beer. I am being your friend to warn you. You cannot take two drinks if you don't take the first. I love Coca-Cola, Peace/Banana Smoothies and Orange Juice. I've never drank one drop of beer in my entire life, and never will by God's grace!!!

Blood Money

The FDA is greatly to blame and the government leaders who control the FDA. Why is it that so many drugs are not available over-the-control; but alcohol is, when alcohol is far more threatening and deadly than most of the regulated drugs? Could it be that the billion dollar alcohol manufacturing companies are stuffing the pockets of greedy and dishonest politicians with money? Of course that's the reason, and it's an abomination unto God Almighty! I'll tell you, there is no evil in America any greater than the lobbyists (law firms) that funnel blood money to Washington lawmakers and politicians to buy injustice. It is beyond evil.

Of all the hundreds-of-billions of tax dollars taken in by the government from alcohol sales, how much of that money do you think goes to THE VICTIMS of drunk drivers? Chump change! For those who defend alcohol, I promise you that you would change your mind if you saw some drunken plastered fool sitting in his car, with your son crushed under the vehicle. Could you really, with your son's blood flowing out from under the vehicle, tell me eye-to-eye that you think alcohol should be promoted as a Madison Avenue product as it is in the United States? If you can, then you are an inspiration to fool's everywhere.

May I say, there are strong varying opinions on the Prohibition Era (1919-1933). I would have to agree that the government has no place in outlawing alcohol, drugs, marijuana, cocaine or other substances. I'm against big government. The government has absolutely no business getting in the education business, nor the medical insurance business, nor foreign affairs, et cetera. If it weren't for the Anti-American Communist policies of the federal government that allows U.S. corporations to send tens-of-millions of manufacturing jobs to foreign soil, American citizens would have plenty of money to pay for medical insurance, et cetera. The problem in America is the false money system of the International Banking Cabal, and deindustrialization. Wall Street executives should all be tried and stoned to death immediately (and all the Washington DC politicians who are in bed with them).

America in 2015 is an absolute WAR ZONE because of cocaine, heroine and marijuana. I say legalize the drug industry like in Amsterdam, where they have few problems with drugs! But also, laws and penalties need to be severe. The young man in Texas who destroyed Jacqueline's life (see photo at beginning of this article) and murdered two of her friends by drunk-driving, got 7-years in prisons, but she got life!!! You can thanks scum lawyers and judges bribed by the booze cartel for that sore evil!!! Hell will be hot enough! God is angry at the wicked (Psalms 7:11). Men will be held accountable for their every work (Ecclesiastes 12:14). Booze is public enemy number one!!! If the law would severely punish alcohol offenders, the problem would take care of itself overnight. Instead, look in your local phonebook at all the trash lawyers who become very wealthy by getting drunk-drivers off the hook! How much INjustice can you afford?
 

Jesus Didn't Make Alcohol

Those who believe it is OK to drink booze are using the Bible to justify their behavior, rather than to shape their behavior. This is typical of interpreting the Bible to fit one's desires. I do not drink alcohol for the same reason that I don't step on the tracks in front of a moving train. Asking whether drinking is a sin is like asking whether it's a sin to play Russian Roulette with one empty chamber. There is no reason to spiritualize this issue. If you think you can drink and handle it, you are either in denial or you simply haven't suffered the consequences that invariably accompany alcohol.

Even if we believe the Bible permits consumption, what does wisdom tell us? Truthfully, drinking is stupid. Here in the United States, there is absolutely no reason to do it — and, we're surrounded by reasons not to do it. Alcohol is a lot more potent today compared to Jesus' time. Wine in the Bible was naturally fermented; not fermented using a still as it is today (which produces a much higher concentration of alcohol). It doesn't take much to get drunk these days, depending on what you are drinking and your tolerance. Add to this our culture's use of drunkenness as a form of stress reliever and you have imminent disaster. Booze is glorified on TV, radio and is an official staple of college spring break.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing idiots defend their binge drinking by claiming that Jesus drank booze. No He didn't! Jesus did not make highly concentrated, intoxicating, wine. The Old Testament clearly warns that God hates “...hands that shed innocent blood” (Proverbs 6:16,17). Look at all the innocent blood which has been shed by alcohol-impaired drivers. MILLIONS of deaths result each year around the world because of alcohol. And most traffic fatalities involve drivers who are not legally drunk.

Don't tell me that the holy Savior Jesus turned water into booze. The wine that Jesus made was able to be drank by children and you'd have to drink the whole barrel to get drunk. Children were also guests at the wedding feast. Jesus wouldn't make a strong drink for the adults, which made them acts like fools. Jesus wouldn't help people become drunken fools, which is what just a few beers does to a person today. Again, the wine spoken of in the Bible was naturally-fermented and you'd have to drink A LOT to even get buzzed. Whereas today . . .

So you see, it's important to understand that wine in the Bible was naturally fermented, and not still-fermented as it is today (which produces a much higher concentration of alcohol). In fact, children drank wine in the Roman empire. Obviously it was a very low concentration of alcohol. This is the same type of wine mentioned in the Bible. This is the wine which Jesus made, which you would have literally had to drank yourself nearly to death before getting drunk. This is why Proverb 23:30 says, “They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.” In order to get drunk in Bible times, you had to tarry LONG at the wine. But with today's wine, you can get drunk very quickly. It's a completely different animal.

Do you think Jesus was blind to the evil's of alcohol? Do you think Jesus didn't know about the drunkenness of Noah, or the drunkenness of Eli's sons, or the drunkard in Proverbs 23:29-35? Do you think Jesus didn't know about Proverb 20:1? Do you think the world had improved since Sodom and Gomorrah? And let me remind you, Sodom and Gomorrah existed AFTER the flood in Noah's day. It wasn't long after the flood, that men went right back to their vomit. Mankind is truly prone to wickedness and destruction. Don't you tell me that Jesus would risk being guilty of having "...hands that shed innocent blood" (Proverbs 7:16,17), by serving highly concentrated booze to others! No way! 

The entire civil law in the Old Testament teaches RESPONSIBILITY for our actions. Jesus knew the Word of God better than anyone else. Don't you dare insult the Son of God by claiming that He would be an accomplice to drunkenness. Jesus turned the water into the fruit of the vine, natural wine. The beer sold in stores today is factory produced and makes a person drunk very quickly.

1st Corinthians 6:9-10 declares, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 

The Word of God plainly teaches that drunkenness is a sin, argue as people may. So many people argue that Jesus turned water into wine in an attempt to justify drinking beer. Ask yourself honestly, do you ever get buzzed? At what point is a person who consumes beer considered drunk? Is it when you can still drive, but your senses are impaired? Is it when you drink a couple beers and start talking like a fool? Who decides when you're drunk? The government? Your family? Your employer? You? Most employers will fire you for having a Blood Alcohol Content of even .01, but the legal limit is .08 BAC.

Clearly, there is no dependable way to know when a person has crossed the line with alcohol. Certainly, we know when some people are drunk, because they are totally incapacitated. However, what about the person with liquor on their breath, who seems half coherent? Are they drunk? Some would say yes. Some would say no. This is why the Bible calls beer drinkers, fools (Proverb 20:1).


Alcohol is Liquid Devil

Let the heathen rage, alcohol is straight from Hell. If I had my way, alcohol would be outlawed completely. It is common sense folks. Anytime you have something which causes millions of injuries and deaths a year, it needs to be outlawed. If Americans were responsible, it would be a different story; but many of them are not. But you ask, "Why should everyone suffer because of the irresponsibility of a few?" Because we DON'T know who those few are until the tragedies happen.  Fireworks used to hurt many people (especially little children), so they were rightfully outlawed. 

So why aren't the SAME precautionary steps taken to protect children from drunk drivers. The answer is found in 1st Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is the root of all evil..." Children are DYING because of greedy lawyers, politicians, alcohol manufacturers, lawmakers, etc.  These villains will be held accountable by God for every drop of alcohol they sold. They will be held fully accountable for every evil caused by their LIQUID DEVIL. They can deny the truth all they want, twisting the facts and rationalizing their works of darkness; but judgment day is coming, and God won't be mocked...
