Marriage is not only the old-fashioned way, it is the right way. Marriage is
God's way, for the Lord created the institution of marriage. The sinful world
doesn't respect and fear God, nor do they respect the sanctity of marriage,
for it is sacred in God's eyes. Marriage is holy. The Bible teaches in Hebrews
13:4 that marriage is HONORABLE in all. Marriage is good, acceptable, honest,
virtuous and true.
Marriage is two people making a life for each other...
Ephesians 5:20-33, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”
Husbands and wives are supposed to
submit to each other, but the key is that the wife must submit first and
foremost in any conflict. The Bible doesn't teach that a husband is supposed
to rule over his wife with a baseball bat in Hand. God created Eve from the
nearest thing to Adam's heart, which is his rib. God didn't create the woman
from man's foot to be trodden upon. Nor did God create a woman from man's head
to argue with him and rule with him. Rather, God created a woman from man's
rib to protect his heart. That's what the ribs do, they protect the heart. A
wife's job is to protect her husband's heart.
Divorce Is A Cruel Act Of Vengeance, Hatred And Unforgiveness
Divorce is the cruel act of a wife shaking her man's heart, stabbing him in the heart and back, feeding him into the devilish hands of ravenous wolves (lawyers and judges) so they can cut his throat with the brutal and unjust force of America's corrupt legal system. Divorce is a selfish and adulterous husband who walks out on his wife to be with another. God pity the wicked wife or husband who files for divorce. You are destroying your own marriage that is sacred in God's eyes. If people saw their marriage and marriage vows as sacred and honorable as God does, they'd never even think of filing for divorce. Divorce is quitting, plain and simple. ANYBODY can quit! Anybody can throw in the towel. Anybody can stab and run! Any coward can file for divorce and go their merry way, but remember, that's exactly what the serpent did after hurting Eve in the Garden Of Eden. And then Eve went and hurt Adam. Watch out for the snakes in your life.
Famous fraud of the PTL Club, Tammy Faye Bakker said she forgave her imprisoned husband only after she filled for divorce. The truth is that she sinned against God by hurting her husband and breaking her marriage vows. She avenged herself instead of allowing God to avenge her. Many wives file for divorce to teach their husband a lesson. In reality they are heaping up coals of fire upon themselves for judgment day, having condemned their husband and avenge themselves upon him. Divorce is vengeance! Romans 12:19 forbids taking vengeance against our enemies. Vengeance belongs only to God. Tammy may have felt better after divorcing her husband who had just been sentenced to 46 years in prison, but in so doing she brought judgment upon herself. Divorce is a sin. Vengeance is also a sin.
Unforgiveness is a sin. If you can only forgive someone after hurting them deeply, then God will judge you the same according to Matthew 7:1-2. If Tammy was saved when she died, she will be dealt with harshly by God at the Judgment Seat Of Christ, just as she dealt harshly with her husband. Although Christ took our punishment upon Him at Calvary, the Bible never teaches that Christians are beyond being chastised and scourged by their Father in Heaven (Hebrews 12:6-8; 2nd Corinthians 5:9-11; 1st Thessalonians 4:6; Psalms 6:1). I am not condemning Tammy. I am saying that she brought condemnation upon herself by divorcing her husband to hurt him before she could forgive him. If you have to beat someone half to death with a baseball bat before you can forgive them, then you have taken judgment into your own hands instead of leaving it in God's hands. Now you are in trouble with God for what you did. Divorce is vengeance! Divorce is hostility. Divorce is a sin that perpetuates for a lifetime. Divorce is hatred.
Marriage is sacred, which is why a period of courtship is VERY important. Many people are more careful how they select buying a car than they are about choosing a life's mate. Premarital sex often leads to an unintended pregnancy and a forced marriage, which is a horrible way to start a marriage. Yet, many such marriages work out well and live happily together. Each situation is different. There's a common false teaching in churches today that says it's ok to file for divorce if you no longer love your spouse. That is satanic thinking. You made a promise on your wedding day, said or unsaid, to stay with your spouse until death. Al and Tipper Gore shamed marriage and took marriage vows to a new low a few years ago (a sinful view of marriage).
The only true happy relationship is a marriage between one man and one
woman. No happy woman wants to be shared with another wife in a polygamous
relationship. No happy child wants two daddies cohabiting in a homosexual
union. Marriage is God's way! God knows what He's talking about. The Bible is
written the way it is for a very good reason, that is, because God created
mankind and knows what is best for man. The Bible warns that God is going to
punish adulterers and whoremongers. The only “gay marriage” is between a man
and a woman.
Beware Of The Snakes Trying To Destroy Your Marriage
In the Garden Of Eden, the serpent (Satan according to Revelation 20:2) came to Eve because she was the weaker vessel. Adam would have seen through the serpent's lies. Satan appealed to Eve's desire to be EQUAL with authority. The Devil told Eve that she and Adam would become “as gods” by eating the forbidden fruit. The Devil convinced Eve that God was lying to her, withholding the truth from her, trying to prevent her from becoming like God. When Adam and Eve sinned by eating the fruit, God gave them what they wanted, that is, to become as gods knowing between good and evil. Hence, mankind has been making his own decisions ever since, and paying the price for our wrong decisions. That's why the world is so messed up today. People have been making the wrong choices for so long that it has wreaked havoc over the centuries across the world. Man is his own worst enemy.
God in His mercy has given to mankind a way of escape, a glorious hope and a sure foundation in the promises of God. We don't have to guess, wonder or hope it all works out. I don't hope; but rather, I have a hope! I have the blessed hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus. My sins are forgiven and washed away by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I am clean by Christ's righteousness, and not by any self-righteousness of my own. Jesus died, was buried and rose up three days later. That is my hope for Heaven. Our faith plus the gospel equals salvation (Hebrews 4:2; Galatians 3:26).
God created man with the ability to have sex, enjoy sex and procreate
(produce offspring). The ability to have children is a remarkable gift from
God to mankind. In procreation, two people who love each other are able to
combine their very DNA into one, producing a child that is both mom and dad
combined into one. There is nothing more beautiful than the gift of parenting
and a precious life of a child.
The Sacredness Of Human Life
Nothing is sacred anymore in America. Since Roe verses Wade in 1973, over 55,000,000 human beings have been brutally murdered in their mother's womb. Worldwide abortion totals reach over a staggering 500,000,000 lives blotted out!!!
The human body is sacred. Americans DON'T respect the sacredness of the human body, nor do they respect the sacredness of marriage. Life is no longer considered sacred. Abortion is commonplace. As if abortion weren't bad enough, the dissected baby body parts have been sold on the market for decades to the highest bidder.
Life is delicate, a gift from God. Man disregards life—killing babies, wiping out animal and fish species from over-fishing and over-hunting, euthanasia of the weak and helpless, poisoning our natural rivers and oceans with pollution, mistreating the elderly, ignoring the homeless, et cetera. As much as America boasts of giving so much aid to foreign countries, our own city streets are saturated with MILLIONS of homeless, tent cities and poverty-stricken families. What a hypocritical nation! One of the woeful sins of the wicked city of Sodom in the Old Testament was having an abundance of food, while they neglected to help the poor. Ezekiel 16:49, “Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” WOE UNTO AMERICA!!!
America's smut magazines and Hugh Hefner's Playboy empire have cheapened a woman's body to the level of a commodity for sale. Americans no longer value the sacredness of marriage, nor the value of a promise. People don't hesitate these days to file for divorce. It's largely in part because of television's sexually immoral programming that love, courtship, marriage and family values are no longer held in high esteem as sacred in God's eyes. A culture that doesn't value life is capable of any evil. Americans stopped valuing God's Word in 1963 when the U.S. Supreme Court banned the Bible from our schools. Morality doesn't matter anymore to most people. That's why women dress whorishly, sexual immorality is prevalent and abortion is epidemic. I'd call 4,000 abortion per day on average for the past 40 years an epidemic! It's the silent American holocaust!!! I don't believe we'd be chopping off heads in culture and freezing them in liquid nitrogen if we respected the sacredness of the human body. That's my opinion.
Marriage is intended for life. marriage and the bed are holy, sacred and to be respected. God pity our perverted American culture that doesn't respect the holiness of sex. God says the bed is undefiled (which means sex), but ONLY within the Biblical boundaries of a lifetime marriage commitment. Marriage is like a fireplace. A fireplace is beautiful, but if you get the fire out of the fireplace, it'll burn your house to the ground!!! Sex is the fire! Marriage is the fireplace! Keep the fire where it belongs! Sex belongs in a marriage and no where else!!! America's abortion industry is caused by Americans letting the fire out of the fireplace. We are an adulterous culture of ingrates who threw the Bible out of our nation's classrooms in 1963. Shame on America!!! Shame! Shame! Shame!
Life is no longer sacred. Family values which preserve the sacredness of marriage and life are scorned in mockery and laughter. Instead, Americans cheer for lesbians and homosexuals. We have become a sick and decadent society of freaks, pleasure-seekers and self-righteous evildoers. Our nation's attitude toward the Bible affects everything else, just like stepping on a garden hose affects everything downstream. You cannot kick God out without inviting the Devil in. One of our own leaders in Congress said that. Our government officially invited Satan to rule in 1963. Unofficially it began much sooner. In 1913 our nation's leaders sold our nation into economic slavery to the private banking cartel, who today have taken total control over our government, Wall Street and the military. The Antichrist is coming, and I believe soon.
If there's one institution that Satan wants to hinder and destroy, it's the marriage. Before there was ever a church there was a marriage. The Bible says that God joins marriages in Heaven (Matthew 19:6; Mark 10:9).
