Visitor Claims I Am Misguided
 

I received the following letter from a gentleman in April of 2006...

I am an independent fundamental Baptist.  I attend church in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Heritage Baptist Church.  I have visited your web site a few times and agree with a lot of your points.  The only thing I don't agree with is that your site seems to constantly tear down people.  I understand that there is a lot of error out there and people need to be aware, but it seems that you are looking for something wrong in everything.  You can look around and see Satan everywhere you look, but we already know that!  He is the god of this world.  Why not spread the Gospel of Christ  because that is what we are commanded to do.  These things are not beneficial to those who are not saved!  First they need to be saved.  Unsaved people have blinders on their eyes and cannot see the light unless they receive Jesus!  This is a Christian conspiracy!  First share the love of Christ.  Don't go around finding error in everything just so you can prove your point but share the saving truth of the Gospel!  That is what people need!  You are to focused on finding
fault and not focused enough on what matters!

Here is my response to the man...

Hi ***,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Ephesians 5:11 commands us to reprove (Greek, elencho, meaning, "to expose") the works of darkness.  I am obeying the Bible.  If we, as Christians, don't expose the evil, then who will?  You say that Christians "already know" that Satan is the god of this world.  So then why do we see churches promoting abortion?  Why do we see Christians endorsing Harry Potter's witchcraft?  Why do we see Homosexual ministers?  It is equally obvious to me that many "Christians" are not Christians in any sense of the word.  Yet, millions of people are following these imposters, who profess to be "Christians."  I am more than willing to stand up for my Saviour, and expose these workers of darkness.

The world is sick and tired of phony Christians who are afraid to speak the truth.  I've received so many letters from people, telling me that they're relieved to find someone who has enough guts to say it like it is.  Of course, I do get plenty of hate mail too ... because the truth often makes people mad. (Galatians 4:16)

There's not one person on my website that I expose who is not a major threat to thousands (or millions) of people.  Someone needs to warn the masses.  I thank God for the privilege to serve Him and to help others see the truth.  When you love someone, you tell them the truth.  There are plenty of love sites on the internet, and that's exactly what the witches, homosexuals, and god-haters want.  They love loving Christians who wouldn't dare speak the truth.  Respectfully, I get letters from witches and homosexuals saying the same thing your saying.  People don't mind a silent Christian, but the godless world hates a big mouth Christian who proclaims the truth of God's Word (John 15:19).
