Liar?

Some of the soldiers who crucified our Lord Jesus Christ called Him a liar...

“And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.” —Luke 23:36-37

Some of the chief priests, scribes, and elders called Jesus a liar...

“Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.” —Matthew 27:41-42

The unrepentant thief on the cross called Jesus a liar...

“And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.” —Luke 23:39

Many of the Jews called Jesus a liar...

“The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” —John 10:33

Lunatic?

Many of the Jews thought Jesus was a lunatic...

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.  Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.” —John 8:51-52

“And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?” —John 10:20

Lord?

Peter believed that Jesus was the Lord...

“And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” —Matthew 16:16

Some of the people believed that Jesus was the Lord...

“Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?” —John 7:41

The repentant thief on the cross believed that Jesus was the Lord...

“But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” —Luke 23:40-42
