To Schism Or Not to Schism, That is the Question

By David J. Stewart | January 2018 | Updated August 2018

1st Corinthians 12:25, “That there should be no schism in the body;
but that the members should have the same care one for another.”

       I wish today's pastors were preachers! I wish today's pastors hated the ungodly Bible perversions like I do. The Bible commands all believers who love the Lord to HATE EVIL (Psalms 97:10). I heard one foolish pastor say that he didn't want any “schisms” in his church. He said this in regard to me exposing the Devil's Alexandrian-based modern Bible perversions. That is not what God meant in 1st Corinthians 12:25, “That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.” To understand what God meant we must read the surrounding context. ...

1st Corinthians 12:21-25, “But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

The Scriptures plainly teach that it is wrong thinking to esteem some members of the Body of Christ as being more honorable (valuable) than others. So here we clearly see in the preceding passage of Scripture, that it is sinful to selectively choose who we are going to care about in the church, and who we don't care about. What a horrible thing it is today, when pastors and church staff pick and choose who they will reach out to, who they will befriend, and who doesn't matter to them. Harvest Baptist Guam on Guam (the largest Baptist church on the island) decided that I am not important to them, and I am feeble and unnecessary in their view. They refused to even take time to pray with me when I requested their help. And tragically, I don't know of any church on Guam, that is any better. Birds of a feather flock together. They are all apostate, pulling on the same rope as the Devil by either using corruptible seed themselves, or bidding Godspeed to Harvest (who promote Calvinism and corruptible seed). By “corruptible seed” I am referring to the satanic modern Bible perversions! It is shocking to me how so few pastors today are concerned about the corruption of God's Word. If you're not upset, you're not paying attention. It ought to be as code-blue in an emergency room, when someone is dying! I say, awake to righteousness!

Check online and you will see the truth, that homosexuals prefer the New International Version (NIV), whose chairman of the Old Testament translating committee, Marten Woudstra, was an open homosexual. Check online and you will see, that the satanic cult of Jehovah's Witnesses, prefer the Westcott and Hort Greek texts, upon which ALL of today's Bible perversions are based or influenced. The perverse New King James Version (NKJV) is allegedly based upon the Textus Receptus, but is saturated with notes endorsing the corrupt Alexandrian texts, and the translation itself is CORRUPT!

Folks, when the apostle Paul warned against any “schism” in the Body of Christ (1st Corinthians 12:25), he meant that there should not be cliques in the church. That is, no bigshots, where men are envying and competing one with another for the attention of the flock, fighting over popularity. “I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?” (1st Corinthians 1:12-13). Paul teaches that just as a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, so also is the church only as strong is the least saint. In other words, all for one and one for all. We're in this thing together! That's how God intended for the church to be, where we love one another in harmony and unity, without unnecessary divisions among us that divide the flock and hinder the work of God.

But hear me out! The Bible is NOT saying that we ought refrain from speaking the truth about evil. Sadly, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is a house divided. They tolerate two Bible sources (major and minor texts). They tolerate two plans of salvation (the Gospel and Lordship Salvation). They favor wealthy people in their church over expendable people like me, nobodies in the Lord. We must expose the satanic lie of Calvinism, which is Galatianism (i.e., partial faith in Christ plus works for salvation). We must expose the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions. Was Paul causing a schism in the church of Galatia by exposing their lies? Paul was splitting their church! Yet it was Biblical.

One shameful local Baptist pastor on Guam, a cowardly wimp who sucks up to Harvest's heresy, accused me of not being an apostle. In his small brain, he thinks I don't have a right to speak out against problems in the churches. Only an idiot would say that only an apostle has the right to expose heresy, but men of God today don't. Since we don't have any apostles today, he is effectively saying that no one ought ever expose any wayward pastor or church. No wonder America is going to Hell!!! YES WE DO HAVE A RIGHT, AND A DUTY, according to Titus 1:10-13 and Ephesians 5:11. May I remind you that Titus was not an apostle either, but the apostle Paul wrote to Titus (one of his converts) in the Epistle of Titus (Titus 1:3), and to me, and to you my dear Christian brother and sister!!! If only the apostles had the write to preach against error and lukewarm churches, then Paul never would have taught Titus to rebuke false prophets sharply that they might be sound in the faith (Titus 1:10-13).

Memorable Words of Wisdom...

Life is not made by the dreams that you dream, but by the choices that you make.

Never reject those who love, care and try to reach out to you, because one day you'll realize you lost the moon while counting the stars!

Don't look for someone who will solve all your problems, look for someone who won't let you face them alone.

To fall in love is by chance;
To love is a choice;
To fall out of love is a choice too;
You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice.

Sometimes we create our own heartbreaks through expectations.

Never chase love, affection or attention. If it isn't given freely by another person, it isn't worth having.

Never apologize for having high standards. People who really want to be in your life will rise up to them. Stand up for what is right even if you're standing alone!

Never blame anyone in your life...

Good people give you happiness.
Bad people give you experience.
The worst people give you a lesson.
And the best people give you memories. Everybody you have ever met in your life was brought to you for a reason.

I have come to understand that we do not love people because they are beautiful, but people become beautiful because we love them. We do not love people because they are perfect, but love propels us to see them as perfect. Love changes the way we view everything in this life. It compels us to think different, talk different, act different and live different. There is no pain that love can not heal, no obstacle that it can not overcome, no weakness that it can not strengthen, no darkness that it cannot lighten up, no shortcoming that it cannot overlook, no wrong that it cannot right, and no brokenheart that it cannot mend. The more loving we are, the more Christlike we become. The world does not really understand the real meaning of love, because they do not know the One that is Love. Let's live in the atmosphere of love every single day of our lives, not just once in a year.

You Can Still Do What You Always Could Do
(MP3, Dr. Jack Hyles; A pastor is a position, not a calling. You can forfeit a position, but never your calling to preach!)

John 15:22, “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.”

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

"So foolish was I, and ignorant..." (Psalm 73:22)

God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved, He will only save those who are trusting to be saved.

—Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995), a quote from the excellent sermon, “Salvation Crystal Clear.”

“God has a special rebuke, again and again and again in the Bible,
toward those people who keep their neutrality in the work of God!”
—SOURCE: Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), a quote from the needful and precious MP3 sermon titled: “Where Were You In The Battle?

Religion is man trying to reach God through human effort, but Christianity is God trying to reach man by the sacrifice of His only begotten Son on the cross.

“You don't have to fall apart just because the world falls apart!”
—an excellent quote by Pastor Ralph “Yankee” Arnold from his awesome MP3 sermon called, “THE CALL TO SUFFER.”

It is tragic, but true, that the true New Testament church is being driven underground in America. Faithful believers like me, who expose the Alexandrian counterfeit Bible versions, and expose false prophets like Dr. John MacArthur, and refute the false gospel of Lordship Salvation, are forced out of the churches as troublemakers. It is crazy!!! Churches are so backslidden and apostate, that they don't even realize a person who contends for the faith. It's bizarre, but Christianity is being driven underground. On the face of things in Europe and the United States, they look like Christian nations, there are plenty of churches, but when one digs deeper, when one really IS a Christian, and wishes to make a stand for the Christian faith, one quickly finds apostasy and rejection.

Brother Tom Stegall's book, Must Faith Endure:

However, many today misunderstand this marvelous truth and say in effect, “Yes, Christ can save you, but your faith must keep holding on to Christ in order for you to reach heaven.” According to this approach, Christ really doesn't save a person; they save themselves. With this approach, a person is not really saved by faith in Christ, but ultimately by faith in their faith, as they think it is their “faithfulness” to Christ which will ultimately bring them eternal life. The great Bible teacher of the past, Harry Ironside, addressed this very problem as he answered the objection: “But must I not hold on to the end if I would be saved at last?”

The Incompatibility Of False Teaching On Repentance With The Gospel Of Grace

“Repentance don't save you! Calling on the Lord don't save you! You know what saves you? Receiving
what Christ done for you on the cross!”
—Pastor Danny Castle, a quote from the needful MP3 sermon, “WHY THERE'S A HELL.”

There's two days you should never worry about—yesterday and tomorrow! You can't change them. Fight today's battles today! Worry is the end of faith and faith is the end of worry! The second I start trusting the Lord, I quit worrying; and the second I start worrying, I quit trusting the Lord. Worry is not trusting God. I just feel like, some of you may be just worrying yourself sick, over stuff that you can't change it a bit. You know what you need to do—put it into God's hands! Don't be guilty of the sin that most Christians commit. (awesome quotes from Pastor Danny Castle's helpful sermon titled, “The Sin That Most Christians Commit.”

The King James Bible IS Inspired!

“The Bible is not the inspired, inerrant and 100% historically true words of God. ... If we would destroy the Christian religion, we must first of all destroy man’s belief in the Bible.” —Voltaire (French philosopher and former unbeliever 1694-1778 - He now knows better [in Hell])

As one liberal theologian pointed out in his review of Harold Lindsell’s, The Battle for the Bible, the only real difference between the conservative and liberal positions on the Bible is that the conservatives say the Bible USED TO BE inspired and inerrant, whereas the liberal says it NEVER WAS inspired or inerrant. BOTH positions agree that the Bible IS NOT NOW inspired or inerrant.

As brother Daryl Coats so aptly says in his article The Two Lies: "If the Bible was inspired only in the original manuscripts, no one in the entire history of the world has ever had an inspired Bible. The original autographs of Job and the books of Moses had disappeared more than a thousand years before the first book of the New Testament was written, so no one has ever owned a complete Bible made up of the 'divine originals.' Nor, has anyone ever owned a complete New Testament made up of 'inspired originals,' because the originals were distributed among more than a dozen individuals and local churches."

“There is power in this Gospel message. Most people just don't know how to
present it... The clarity of the Gospel is what makes it easy for them to believe.”

WHY GRACE CAN SAVE THE WORST MAN!

“No one's ever saved by cheap grace, they're saved by priceless amazing grace! We have a miracle salvation provided and preserved by God Himself. Let's give out the Good News of this salvation, simply and faithfully for His glory. Salvation is not cheap. God sent His Son to pay for our sins. It wasn't cheap—very expensive—He just made it free. And when you and I try to add one work to it, we cheapen it! That's when you cheapen it, when you think that it wasn't enough, I've got to add something to it!” —Pastor Yankee Arnold, a precious quote from the excellent MP3 sermon titled, “CAUGHT BETWEEN GRACE AND WORKS!” | VIDEO | MORE HELPFUL SERMONS

“Salvation is based upon purely what Jesus Christ has done. And if you've trusted Jesus Christ here, you're saved forever! Nothing in your life, nothing in your death, angels, principalities, nothing—nothing in your future—could ever undo that relationship that has been made when you trusted Jesus Christ as Savior. Scriptures by Dr. Gail Riplinger, showing, why some great men are deceived...

Hosea 7:13, “Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.”

Ecclesiastes 3:16-17, “And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.”

Job 32:4-9, “Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.”

Jeremiah 5:5, “I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.”

unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.”

“Do you know the more righteous you try to live, the ungodly people are not impressed with it, don't care for it, and totally, truly, despise you for doing it! The more right you try to do, the more you're despised for doing so! There are people who want to justify sin in the world, and you and I that live right are a rebuke to them for such!” —Pastor Ralph "Yankee" Arnold, from the MP3 sermon, "As it Was So shall It Be."
