Another Soul Snatched from the Fires of Hell

By David J. Stewart | September 2009

Here is a wonderful and uplifting e-mail I recently received from one of my web visitors . . .

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ,

I've been hoping that you would open up a means of contact again, as I've been wanting to share a blessing with you.  My name is _________, I'm 27 years old and live in WI. (I won't go into everything, or it would be a long message and I don't want to take up all of your time).

So I knew of your website for about 4 years or so.  When I first came across it, I had just joined a "Church of Christ" (those who believe you have to be immersed in water to be saved... among other things) and so I did not care much for your website... but I always remembered it.  Then I left that cult and made my way "around the religious block" (from Catholicism to Paganism to Islam).  And after nearly 6 years I hit rock bottom.  And "just for the heck of it" I decided to give this "faith only" angle a look (I was campaigning for Ron Paul and knew a couple people who went to an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church up here, so I began talking with them a little bit as well).

And so for 2 weeks I read from your website (and others, but by-far-and-large yours) and from the Bible.  And frankly, at least at that point, I needed the Gospel of Grace presented in the manner that many of your articles use - BOLDLY!  I needed it smacked right across my face.  With love, but with a higher "dose" of boldness than much of the "protestant" world uses.  And on March 14th of this year, I put my trust completely in the finished work of Christ and was saved by the Grace of God!

And so, I thank God indeed for your website, and now I am thanking you.  I still visit it often and share it with others, hoping and praying it could be a blessing to other folks as well.  And so, again, Thank You!!!

You'll be in my prayers for as long as I'm on this Earth, and look forward to seeing you with the Lord, if not ever before.

God bless,

_____________

Praise God! I take no credit for souls saved, for we read in 1st Corinthians 3:6-7, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” Thank Jesus! I am humbled that God is using my labors, even if just in some small way, to help others.

It is my earnest hope and pray that more souls will be saved, that more Christians will be challenged to become fervent soulwinners and that Jesus will return soon at the Pretribulation Rapture. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
