True preaching is the outflow of a Christian's life. Preaching is not a
sermonette read from a piece of paper, although a preacher may use a sermon
outline.
Preaching is not a performance. I've known some preachers to attempt to fill the shoes of other preachers, and flop in the process. You have to be yourself. Preaching should be from the heart; not the intellect of the mind.
