Religious Heathens!

"Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?" —Jeremiah 7:8-10
I think most Americans would agree that America is a nation that trusts in God, at least by proclamation... IN GOD WE TRUST! Yet, in consideration of the Words in Jeremiah 7:8-10, how does America compare? Let's COMPARE ancient Israel with the United States today...

Just as with ancient Israel, so is America today a cesspool of iniquity. And likewise, both ancient Israel and America today profess to commit their sins with God's blessing. How dare any American proclaim "In God We Trust," while over one million babies continue to be brutally murdered by abortion!!! How dare any American proclaim "In God We Trust," when American's purchased $50,000,000,000 worth of pornography last year alone!!! How dare we profess to be "One Nation Under God" while booze flows like rain-water during a thunderstorm throughout our nation, and victims continue to die because of drunk-drivers!!! We are truly a nation of religious heathens.
God will NOT bless a nation of liars, pornographers, drunkards, fornicators, child-murderers, feminist-rebels, homosexuals, et cetera. God is going to damn America, and we deserve what we get! For as much as Americans go around exclaiming "God damn it!" in their daily conversation, it is a tremendous testimony of the longsuffering patience of a merciful God Who hasn't damned us yet. Howbeit, America has already damned herself, through the complacency which sin always brings. The silence of the American public is deafening in the face of an impending Police State takeover. Sin always undermines any nation. America today is being subverted from within by Communist agendas.
Tragically, America's churches are also silent, even in spite of an ongoing American abortion holocaust, and the rise of a generation of homosexuals to public prominence. Where will these travesties of justice lead our nation? The Church today is apostate, evidenced by her silence concerning sin and evil. Tragically, as the Church becomes more worldly; so does the world become more churchy. Satan is a beautiful liar!
In the Absence of Light, Darkness Prevails
We read in 2nd Timothy 3:1-7, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
2nd Timothy 3:1-7 perfectly parallels with Jeremiah 7:8-10. Tragically, most religious people today overlook the Scriptures entirely, failing to realize that they have churchianity without Christianity. Some of the most rotten sinners are still blinded in their self-righteousness because of religion.

As a consequence, 18% of the membership of the Unitarian Universalist Church are ATHEIST!!! Several leading religious denominations today actually endorse abortion rights, and homosexual rights. This is wickedness! Some churches today even ordain homosexuals and lesbians to be respected ministers within their organizations. This is evil! The Devil has perverted the meaning of "equal rights," even to the extreme of perverting the Scriptures in order to allow for homosexuality, slaughtering babies, and every other sin imaginable.
Conclusion
Most people today have a "form of godliness"; but deny the redeeming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16). Church membership never took anyone to Heaven. Water Baptism never saved anyone. You need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, i.e., the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to your heavenly record... "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God" (James 2:23). "Imputed" literally means that Jesus places His Righteousness upon our record in Heaven, so that when God the Father looks at the believer, He sees the righteousness of Christ. What a Savior!
