“May The Force Be With You!”

Sir Alec Guinness as Jedi Master Obi-Wan KenobiWe are about at the end of the road as they say. The Laodicea church is lukewarm from all its riches, "and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked" (see Rev. 3:14-22)!

The Lord Jesus, the very one who saved us from our sins is no longer in the church but, tells us: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)

The "spirit of this world" is in our churches today, after having thrown the Lord Jesus out of them! Take a brief look at:

"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." —John 4:24 (KJB)

ALL modern versions insist that "God is Spirit" (NKJV) or "God is spirit" (NIV, NASV, etc.).

Leaving out the indefinite article ("a"), in English allows one to reasonably conclude that God is any spirit or even all spirits, whether good or evil. By saying "a Spirit," the King James Bible shows that God is a particular Spirit among many and that he stands apart from other spirits such as human spirits and evil spirits.  Also notice how the NIV, NASV, etc., have  compound this heresy that God's Spirit is nothing more than that of nature by here spelling spirit in the lower case.

Notice how this damnable heresy is being taught today...

"From the beginning, then, light was a spiritual force, but darkness was not - it was merely the relative absence of God's activity. Darkness was not associated with evil. Indeed, God saw that the arrangement he had created of day and night, light and darkness was "very good." Genesis 1:31. It was only when sin entered the creation that darkness became an evil spiritual force" http://faithcenter.hypermart.net/chapter5.htm

"Thus, Jesus answer to the question in what place God should be worshipped was not a physical place at all (1). Rather, it was a spiritual place or condition - in spirit and in truth. Further, the reason God seeks to be worshipped not in a physical temple but in spirit is that God is spirit. This defines God's substance...The relationship between word and spirit should here be noted. As will be further developed in a later chapter, Jesus is the word of God and all things were created through him. John 1:1-3. Further, as was explained above, God's spirit (breath) was active in creation, and all things were created when God spoke. Genesis 1, passim. Thus, it is said that all things were created through, or by the instrumentality of, God's word (Jesus), his spoken words and his spirit. But there is no contradiction, because these three are one."

Notice, that we have in the above a professing "Christian"  group who not only tells us that the  Spirit of God  is "spirit (breath) was active in creation"; but that we need to be reconciled back into the oneness of the Pope's  "body of Christ".

"Pope John Paul II, in the 1995 encyclical Ut unum sint ("That they may be one"), takes the very large and commendable step of recognizing that some outside the Catholic fellowship are true Christians and have manifested the Holy Spirit at times in ways Catholics have not. The Pope's emphases on recognizing that Christ has one Body in spite of the doctrinal and historical divisions we have placed in it and upon the practical recognition of our unity through joining together in prayer with those in other fellowships also appear to me to be exactly correct. Clearly, the "Protestant" (I hate that term) community as a whole should reciprocate by recognizing the Spirit at work within the Catholic fellowship and also among "protestants" in groups other than our own and by joining our brethren in prayer. It's time to end the wars of the Reformation." http://faithcenter.hypermart.net/index.html

This is very interesting! What we have are professed "Christians" telling us that God's Spirit is nothing more than "light force" of "breath" that "was active in creation," and we should all get back with the Pope.  We find in the Newsweek magazine, August 5, 2002, page 52, that M. Night Shyamalan (Born in Madras, India, on August 6, 1970), Director of “Signs,” "Unbreakable" and “The Sixth Sense,” and the highest paying script writing today, "was  raised Hindu but sent to a Roman Catholic grade school for the discipline."  You do know what a Hindu has to say about the Spirit of God, don't you?  Did I mention that he also writes children cartoons, like Stuart Little"?

ALL modern versions insist that "God is Spirit" (NKJV) or "God is spirit" (NIV, NASV, etc.).

Here's some more heresy from another professed "Christian" website...

"God is not only perfect but all-powerful. God is spirit. He is not an old man with a long white beard who sits on a throne in heaven. To picture God as a human being is to impose limitations. Were He human He could not be in all places at once, neither could he hear every prayer.

God is not a person but the creative universal spirit. Wherever there is life there is spirit, and wherever there is spirit there is life. We exist because a spark of divinity is within each one of us. This is a divine relationship in which God is our father and we are all His children.

We can, by our lives, fan the spark into a flame so that a greater expression of divinity is made known through us. The result will be to sustain, uplift and help us in our spiritual development. And we have the free will to reject and ignore the spark of divinity. The result is that we fail to make the progress we should and deny ourselves the beauty that life has to offer.

We do not believe in a vicarious atonement as preached in some orthodox religions. We regard Jesus as an exemplar, not a Saviour. Man has no Saviour but himself. We are each personally responsible for our sins and must atone for them here or hereafter. It is far more moral to acknowledge our sins and try to make amends than to try to place them on the shoulders of another. We believe that Jesus was divine, but only in the sense that we are all divine. There is a difference of degree but not of kind.

We also believe, as the Bible states, that Jesus developed his psychic faculties and was a supreme master of spiritual law. Moreover he was in close touch with the spirit world and demonstrated his survival after his death. His teaching of brotherhood, love, humility and service is the basis of Spiritualism as we know it today. " http://www.nucleus.com/~gateway/spirit.html

Jedi 'religion' grows in Australia

Shockingly, more than 70,000 people in Australia have declared that they are followers of the Jedi faith, the religion created by the Star Wars films.

A recent census found that one in 270 respondents - or 0.37% of the population - say they believe in "the force", an energy field that gives Jedi Knights like Luke Skywalker their power in the films.

Most of the 70,509 people who wrote Jedi on their census forms were suspected to have done so in response to an e-mail encouraging all Star Wars fans to get it recognised as an official religion.

But the majority do not seriously tell each other: "May the force be with you", according to Australian Star Wars Appreciation Society president Chris Brennan.

"When you look at it you probably have got about 5,000 people in that 70,000 that were true hard-core people that would believe the Jedi religion carte blanche," he told ABC Radio.

"Then you would have 50,000 fans that said 'oh yeah we'll just put down Jedi for fun, we don't actually have a religion of our own'.

"Then you probably have 15,000 people who did it just to give the government a bit of curry," he said.

'Not defined'

An e-mail was sent around the world in 2001 saying that if 10,000 people declared they were Jedi, it would be recognised as an official religion.

But the Australian Bureau of Statistics said it would be categorised as "not defined".

Thousands of people in New Zealand and the UK also followed the advice of the e-mail - with Jedi Knight even being included on the list of religions by UK census authorities.

The Devil is working relentlessly to corrupt and destroy.  We must fight back by holding dear to our Preserved and Inspired King James Bibles.  So many foolish Christians have bought into the Devil's lie that they need a "new" Bible.  In exchange for the trustworthy KJB, many people are being handed a Satanic perversion of God's Word.

Oh how deceitful is the Devil that even God's children are being tricked out of their Sword (God's Word).  The "Word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword" according to Hebrews 4:12.  Why would you want to trade in your double-edged sword for a plastic toy?  If you're using any bible other than a King James Bible, you're going into battle with a plastic sword, or one of those cardboard swords with aluminum foil wrap around it.  I'm not kidding, ALL of the modern Bibles are so watered down and washy-washing that they've made the Bible ineffective.

Most modern bibles are like reading a newspaper, and have about the same effect.  The KJB will rip your heart out and bring you closer to God or else it will make you angry.  If you want a watered down bible, then you are the fool, not me.  I'll stick with the Precious King James Bible that proudly proclaims the Godhead and the deity of Jesus Christ.
