Many men dare wrest (twist) Scriptures which they do not understand, to
their own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16). Dr. Robert B. Thompson (born in
1925) of “TRUMPET MINISTRIES” and his website called,
“The
Word of RIGHTEOUSNESS” (wor.org)
has been teaching heresy for over half a century, authoring hundreds of
books and misleading people concerning the Biblical doctrine of the Godhead
(often called the Trinity). On his website Thompson teaches
heresy concerning the Trinity..."I have been a fervent disciple for sixty-one years. As I have studied the Scriptures, and have walked with Christ, I have come to the conclusion that the doctrine of the Trinity, while it seeks to exalt Christ, a praiseworthy endeavor, is actually working against what Christ desires, which is to have brothers with whom He can have fellowship; a bride who is an integral part of Himself; and a Body through which He can reveal Himself, and the Father revealed through Christ through the saints.
We have 'booted Christ upstairs,' so to speak, by viewing Him as equal to the Father. We have made Him part of an incomprehensible Godhead and no longer available to us as an elder brother, except in some mysterious, religious sense."

Thompson further denies the Biblical doctrine of the Godhead...
"The doctrine of the Trinity, that there are three equal Gods constituting one God, or that there is one Person in three forms, that they all are all equal, that the Father is not greater than the Son, not only is against the Scripture but makes Christ’s teaching that we are to become one with Him rather difficult if not impossible to comprehend. How are we to become a true brother of the Father? Are we the Bride of the Father? Did the Father cry out to Himself in Gethsemane? This is not sensible. ...
Jesus stated clearly that the Father is greater than He. But the doctrine of the Trinity claims this is not the truth."

Dr. Thompson teaches that believers will become “an integral part of the Godhead” ...
"There is but one God. The Lord Jesus came forth from Him. Now we are becoming an integral part of the Lord Jesus, and thus of God through Him, by eating His flesh and drinking His blood. ...
Here we find (In John, Seventeen) that we are being made, through Christ, an integral part of the Godhead, and that God loves us as He loves His Son."

Christians will NEVER be a part of the Godhead. Although we are united with Christ's Spirit at salvation (Romans 8:9), we are not God, nor will we ever evolve into gods and goddesses as Mormons and New Agers foolishly teach. Thompson is teaching total heresy! Thompson's unbiblical basis for denying the Godhead is that man could never become part of the Godhead if there are three Persons.
Yet, the Bible is clear that the one true and living God (Deuteronomy 6:4) has manifest Himself to humanity in three distinct Persons; namely, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:2 refers to the Godhead as “the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” The Godhead wasn't meant to be figured out, nor understood, otherwise the Bible wouldn't call God “a mystery.”
Thompson
also claims that if the Father is greater than Jesus (John 14:28), then
Jesus cannot be equal with the Father. Philippians 2:6 in the faithful King
James Bible says “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery
to be equal with God” (because Jesus is the Almighty, Revelation 1:8).
The answer to this seeming contradiction is found in Philippians 2:8 and
Hebrews 5:8 where the Bible says Jesus humbled Himself in obedience to the
Father. Philippians 2:8, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”
Hebrews 5:8, “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things
which he suffered.” As a man, Jesus humbled Himself to the will of the
Father. In this sense only Jesus said that His Father was greater than He.
Dr. Robert B. Thompson is a dangerous false prophet who has influenced over hundreds-of-millions of people on the internet. No doubt many innocent people seeking the truth have been misled by the lies of Robert Thompson's false teachings concerning the Trinity. I prefer the word “Godhead” because it is found in the Bible, that is, if you have a reliable Bible that hasn't been corrupted by greedy people. The precious, inspired and trustworthy King James Bible mentions the word “Godhead” in three places (Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9). You wont find the word “Godhead” in today's perverted modern Bibles, because the publishers wanted to increase their marketing base by catering to a larger religious base (and the Godhead offends many people, like Robert B. Thompson and other heretics).

It is frightening that a man who professes to have become a Christian in 1944, holding a doctorates degree in education, whose authored over 400 books and pamphlets, DOESN'T BELIEVE THE GODHEAD!!! The teaching of the Godhead is a fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith and a person IS NOT saved who openly denies this vital doctrine.
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, literally
coming forth from God the Father, that is, God's only begotten Son (John
3:16). Jesus had NO earthly father. Mary had never known a man intimately
prior to Christ's birth. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and a miracle of
God brought forth the baby Jesus. Luke 1:35, “And the angel answered and
said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the
Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be
born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Jesus had God's blood
flowing in His veins (Acts 20:28). What a precious Savior!
Unsaved Modernists
Robert Thompson is NOT saved. He cannot be saved while simultaneously denying the Doctrine of Christ. Being a new convert who is ignorant of Biblical doctrine is another matter entirely, which doesn't mean that a person is not saved. But this man openly denies the Godhead 68-years after he allegedly was converted to Christianity. Thompson is a false prophet who masquerades as a Biblical Christian. This is what is termed, a “Modernist.” Anyone who speaks about spiritual matters and gives the impression that they are of God, but denies even one fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith is an unsaved Modernist.
This
is how we know that Dr. John MacArthur is
also an unsaved Modernist. MacArthur
denies the literal blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, trodding underfoot
the precious
blood of Christ. Hebrews 10:29, “Of how much sorer punishment,
suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son
of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of
grace?”
The Greek word for “unholy” here is koinos and mean “common” (that is, nothing special). MacArthur is a lying deceiver who says the blood of Jesus is dear and precious, but then teaches in Hebrews 9:12 and 22 of his MacArthur Study Bible that the blood is only representative of the death of Christ and is not a literal term. MacArthur, like heretic R.B. Thieme Jr., teaches that Jesus' blood soaked into the ground and stayed at Calvary, never reaching the Mercy Seat in Heaven.
These men all have religion and the philosophy of Christianity, but they have never been born anew by the Spirit of God. MacArthur teaches, and I quote, “The life we live, not the words we speak, determines our eternal destiny” (Hard to Believe, pg. 93). MacArthur certainly does make it hard to believe; in fact, he makes it IMPOSSIBLE! You can't get saved by the life you live. That's works-salvation!
Even Dr. Robert B. Thompson knows that the things we do cannot bring salvation...

Thompson is 100% correct in this teaching,
salvation is NOT by works of self-righteousness (Ephesians 2:8-9). MacArthur
is more corrupt than Dr. Thompson! Thompson's problem is that he sincerely
doesn't believe the Godhead, thus denying the very nature of God. Sincerity
is the road to Hell (Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25. Also, Matthew 7:21-23). It is
no trifle matter. It's not merely a matter of semantics. Jehovah's Witnesses
deny the Biblical doctrine of the Godhead, as do Buddhists, Hindus, Mormons,
Scientology, Christian Science, Freemasons, Wiccans, Islam, Judaism and
other demonic false religions.
The Bible, God's Inspired Words, Proclaims The Doctrine Of The Godhead!
Colossians 2:9, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
Skeptics of the Word of God often like to point out that the word “Trinity” is not found in the Scriptures; however, the Word “Godhead” most certainly is. We find the “Godhead” mentioned in Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, and Colossians 2:9. Colossians 2:9 states it all so well... “For in Him [Christ] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Literally, the Godhead came to this earth incarnate in the man Christ Jesus. Jesus was 100% man, and 100% God. Jesus did not give up His deity when He came to the earth. According to Hebrews 5:8, Jesus humbled Himself to the Father in Heaven, even being obedient unto death (the crucifixion).
We read in Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...” “Us” and “Our” are plural in the Hebrew. Clearly, God has manifest (or revealed) Himself to mankind as a Godhead, i.e., one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), yet three distinct individual Persons. It may not make good math; but, it definitely makes good Bible. I didn't author the Bible, God did. Either you believe that the Bible is God's Word, or you don't. We plainly read in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Here we see all three individual members of the Godhead. Again in Luke 3:22 we see all three individual members of the Godhead, “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”
These Scriptures cannot be thrown away. Several false religions, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, deny the Godhead. A popular argument is that the Trinity originated in pagan ancient Babylon. However, a distinct difference must be noted between the masculine Godhead of the Word of God, and the pagan goddess worship which originated with Nimrod and Semiramis. It was not Christianity that imitated paganism; but paganism Christianity. Furthermore, there is no ancient pagan religion which taught the Biblical doctrine of the Godhead. There are an abundance of Scriptural references to “God the father,” and to the “Son of God.” Clearly, they are two distinguished individuals.
Also, please understand that the Biblical Godhead is 100% totally masculine. There is NO feminine aspect of the Godhead as feminist theology, New Agers, witches, occultists and spiritists teach. Satan has been relentlessly attacking the Bible in these Last Days, producing the NIV 2011 which removes the pronoun “he” concerning the Holy Spirit in John 14:26. Satan's new transgendered Bible caters to homosexuals and feminists.
Also, we see the individuality of the Holy Spirit in Luke 12:10, “And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.” Acts 5:32, “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.” Notice the word “Whom,” not “it.” The Holy Spirit is a Person. In John 16:13 we read, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Six times in John 16:13, the Holy Spirit is referred to as the masculine pronoun “He.”
Again, the Godhead is a mystery. We read of “the mystery of God” in Colossians 2:2. You either believe the Bible is the Word of God, or you don't. By the way, many modern corrupted Bibles have entirely removed the word “Godhead,” such as in the New International Version (NIV). This is a direct attack on Christ's deity. Also, wherever the King James Bible says that someone “worshipped” Jesus, the NIV changes it to “knelt” instead. How deceitful.
Colossians 2:2 refers to the Godhead as “the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” Isn't that a beautiful Scripture? I really want you to learn this Bible Verse, because it is the heart of the matter. The Godhead is a mystery. It's ok not to understand everything. Most people can't explain how a brown cow can eat green grass and produce white milk, but that yellow butter on your biscuits sure tastes good!
Thankfully we don't have to understand God to be saved, we just need to believe (trust) upon His only begotten Son Who died, was buried and rose again three days later for our sins (1st Corinthians 15:1-4; John 20:31; Acts 10:43).
