Web Visitor Says “Thank You”

One of my faithful web visitors gratefully says...

If you are who I think you are...thank you!

If you are the webmaster of the site jesus-is-savior.com, and I think you may be judging from the content of this page...well, I just wanted to thank you.

Your website was one of the many that helped lead me to Christ about a year and a half ago.

You're also one of the few who tells it like it is, straight from the Word of God and I appreciate that. I know a lot of people out there don't, as you're one of the most hated individuals on the web. Believers as well as non-believers! Well, in this sorry, sin-infested world I take that as a sign that you're doing something right! Keep up the great work!

Also, I am aware of your back and neck pain and I'm sorry to hear that. Know that I will be praying for you!

I really appreciate every encouraging e-mail I receive. Albeit, I decided several years ago that I would never take compliments to heart, so that I would likewise not take criticism to heart. To the degree that I relish in the kind words and gratitude of my friends; to that same degree I am making myself vulnerable to hurt feelings and discouragement from my enemies. I love compliments just as anybody else, and I do appreciate them; but I have learned to just put all comments, good or bad, into the Lord's hands.

I thank God for the compliments I receive and credit them all to the glory of God, for this is His ministry and website. It is by God's grace that this ministry is what it is, reaching so many millions of people with the truth. I realized a long time ago that if I am to continue for God, enduring hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, then I needed to become oblivious to whatever people think about me. The very same people who said to Jesus, “Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord,” one week later said, “Crucify Him! Release Barabbas!” Live for God, not people.

I live for the praises of God, which is what John 12:43 teaches. Most people today live for the praises of men, “For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” I don't do anything for the praise of men. My reward is in Heaven (Matthew 6:20). Many people hate me for preaching the truth, just as they did Jesus and the Apostle Paul; but it will be worth it all when I see Jesus!!! Jesus is precious!
