False Faith in God

John 4:22 and Matthew 22:29,“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews ... Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.”
I recently shared the gospel with a devout Catholic, i.e., a religious lost
man; who replied that no one should put down anyone else's religion, because
faith is in the heart, regardless of what religion a person follows. That is
New Age philosophy, which teaches that there are many paths to eternal life!
I explained to the man that the Bible plainly teaches only ONE PATH to Heaven, and that is through the Son of God, Jesus Christ! He mentioned a friend of his that is a doctor, and a devout follower of the Bahá'í faith. He again said that one's religion is not important, just so long as a person does their best to obey the Ten Commandments and love one another. His entire mindset is based upon Works Salvation (which the Bible condemns as a path to the Lake of Fire, Ephesians 2:8-9 and Romans 3:20).
The Biblical truth is that anyone who dies in their sins without the Lord Jesus as their Savior WILL go to Hell forever. So many hellbound religious people speak of faith, but they have no faith. They have faith in the Pope. Faith in religion. Faith in a false god. Faith in their own self-righteousness. Faith in dead saints. Faith in statues. Faith in the traditions of men. But they certainly don't have exclusive faith in the Son of God.
All of the Devil's religion's teach a works-based salvation, which requires that a person do something to earn salvation. But the Bible teaches that salvation is a completely free gift, that we just receive by faith in Jesus Christ. We don't earn it! We don't deserve it! We just take it freely! Eternal life is a free gift, paid for by Jesus' precious, literal, physical blood (1st Peter 1:18-19; 1st John 1:7; Revelation 1:5). Salvation is receiving, not giving.
Put bluntly, the Catholic religion is of the Devil. The Pope is a big imposter! All of the priests who claim to have the power to forgive sins are liars! The Bahá'í faith is not faith at all. They teach Works Salvation, just as the wayward Catholics do. They're only working themselves into Hell, for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8). Whether it be Mormonism, the Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventism, Christian Science, Church of Christ, the United Methodist Church, Scientology, Eastern Orthodoxy, Russia Orthodox or Islam... they're all OF THE DEVIL!!!
If you want to be saved the Bible way, then you must come to God the Father through God the Son. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God! Acts 10:43, “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.” To Hell with the Devil and his false religions!!!
Genuine faith in the God of the Bible means trusting on the Lamb of God Who taketh away the sin of the world, Jesus Christ! Nothing has changed in 6,000 years. Abram (whom God later named Abraham) was saved by faith in the coming Messiah. Genesis 15:6, “And he believed in the LORD; and He counted it to him for righteousness.” Abraham was saved by faith in Jesus Christ, just as sinners are today.
Do not be confused and misled by the Devil when you hear apostates, unbelievers and lost religious people boasting about faith in God; because you know they are liars with a false faith if Jesus is not their Savior. Anyone who does not exclusively trust in Jesus Christ, apart from all self-righteousness and good works for their salvation, is on a road to Hell fire and eternal damnation. Most people esteem getting along with others (unity) as a much higher priority than risking being divided from others over truth. God wants His children to divide over truth, rather than to unite in error.
Satan wants everyone to unite in sinful compromise, cowardice and confusion; but God says to divide over truth. Faith in God means faith in Christ. This often leads to being rejected by one's own family. Matthew 10:36, “And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.” Truth is truth, and it cannot be altered. The truth is intolerant. 1 + 1 = 2. That is the truth. Now you can claim that 1 + 1 = 3, but you'd be wrong. In the same way, God said what He meant, and meant what He said in His Word (John 14:2).
True faith in God is rooted in the truth. This is exactly what Jesus taught in John 4:22 to the woman at the well. True salvation is offered to the world through Christ, Who came to the world through Israel. Salvation is found in the God of Israel. Not the false god of filthy Judaism; but in the God of the Bible.
