Doctrines Of Devils Or Doctrine Of Christ?

By David J. Stewart

1st Timothy 4:1 and 2nd John 1:9, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils ...Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”

The world is saturated with DOCTRINES OF DEVILS. The Bible proclaims the DOCTRINE OF CHRIST.

Nearly all people have churchianity without Christianity. So many people have been mislead by Satan, whom the Bible warns appears to mankind as an angel of light (2nd Corinthians 11:14); and his sinister ministers as righteous leaders (2nd Corinthians 11:15). The Devil is highly subtle, a professional liar, and knows exactly how to deceive the masses. Revelation 20:10, “And THE DEVIL THAT DECEIVED THEM was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Satan's doctrines are intended to take you to Hell, to rob you of your faith in the Word of God; but to make you think you're doing the right thing at the same time. The Devil has always used the same tactic to destroy humanity. The Devil lies to people, while simultaneously making them think that they're doing what is right. The Bible has much to say about this fact. Satan came to Eve in the Garden of Eden, placing a seed of doubt in Eve's mind, causing her by DECEPTION (1st Timothy 2:14)

The doctrine of Christ is everything that the Bible teaches about Jesus Christ pertaining to the Gospel message. This includes Jesus' virgin birth, deity, Godhead, sinless life, vicarious (substitute) death in our place, burial (verifying His death), bodily resurrection, and the importance of the literal physical blood of Jesus. Teaching that good works are required for salvation is an attack against the Doctrine of Christ (Romans 3:19-20). Teaching that water baptism is necessary for salvation is an attack against the precious Doctrine of Christ (Romans 10:13). Eternal life is a free gift from God the Father to those who come to Him by way of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Salvation is of the Lord; not men. Our part is to simply receive that gift by faith in the Son of God, for the forgiveness of sins.

The Doctrine of Christ is critically important. Every false religion attacks the Doctrine of Christ.

“A demonic spirit's favorite activity is making a person feel religious without an understanding of the Word of God.” —Pastor Max D. Younce
