Christian Science is of the Devil

By David J. Stewart

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." —Matthew 7:15

Christian Science is a false religion which began in 1875, when Mary Baker Eddy (the religion's founder) published her demonic work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.  "Christian Scientists" elevate the writings of Mary Baker Eddy as being equal with the inspired Word of God, i.e., the Bible.

As with other Satanic religions, Christian Science follows the writings of a human being (Mary Baker Eddy) instead of the Word of God.  Mormons follow Joseph Smith.  Jehovah's Witnesses follow Charles Taze Russell.  Scientologists follow Ron Hubbard.  Lutherans follow Martin Luther.  Muslims follow Muhammad.  But in John 5:39 Jesus commanded... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!!

Quotes from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures:

The fasted way to identify a false religion is to find out what they teach concerning the FUNDAMENTAL doctrines of the Bible; such as, the Virgin Birth, the Godhead, the Deity of Christ, Jesus' Bodily Resurrection, the Literal Physical Redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ, et cetera.

Let’s see what Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health with Keys to the Scriptures has to say:

Mary Baker Eddy says Jesus is NOT God...

S&H 360:28

The Christian who believes in the First Commandment is a monotheist. Thus he virtually unites with the Jew's belief in one God, and recognizes that
Jesus Christ is not God, as Jesus himself declared, but is the Son of God.

Mary Baker Eddy said Jesus was NOT the Christ.  Instead, she taught that "The Christ" is a divine nature available to all mankind to overcome sin, sickness, and death...

S&H 26:10

The Christ was the Spirit which
Jesus implied in his own statements: "I am the way, the truth, and the life"; "I and my Father are one." This Christ, or divinity of the man Jesus, was his divine nature, the godliness which animated him. Divine Truth, Life, and Love gave Jesus authority over sin, sickness, and death. His mission was to reveal the Science of celestial being, to prove what God is and what He does for man.

Again, Mary Baker Eddy denied the deity of Jesus, His oneness with God the Father, and that He is the Christ...

S&H 333:32

By these sayings
Jesus meant, not that the human Jesus was or is eternal, but that the divine idea or Christ was and is so and therefore antedated Abraham; not that the corporeal Jesus was one with the Father, but that the spiritual idea, Christ, dwells forever in the bosom of the Father, God, from which it illumines heaven and earth; not that the Father is greater than Spirit, which is God, but greater, infinitely greater, than the fleshly Jesus, whose earthly career was brief.

Mary Baker Eddy taught a perverted plan of salvation.  Clearly, Mrs. Eddy believed that a person was saved by good works, and by "declaring the power of Christian Science" ...

S&H 317:6

Whosoever lives most the life of
Jesus in this age and declares best the power of Christian Science, will drink of his Master's cup. Resistance to Truth will haunt his steps, and he will incur the hatred of sinners, till "wisdom is justified of her children." These blessed benedictions rest upon Jesus' followers: "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you;" "Lo, I am with you alway," that is, not only in all time, but in all ways and conditions.

Mary Baker Eddy denied the redeeming power of Christ' precious blood sacrifice...

S&H 473:4

The Science of Mind disposes of all evil. Truth, God, is not the father of error. Sin, sickness, and death are to be classified as effects of error. Christ came to destroy the belief of sin. The God-principle is omnipresent and omnipotent. God is everywhere, and nothing apart from Him is present or has power. Christ is the ideal Truth, that comes to heal sickness and sin through Christian Science, and attributes all power to God.
Jesus is the name of the man who, more than all other men, has presented Christ, the true idea of God, healing the sick and the sinning and destroying the power of death. Jesus is the human man, and Christ is the divine idea; hence the duality of Jesus the Christ.

Did you read that?  She states, "Christ is the ideal Truth, that comes to heal sickness and sin through Christian Science, and attributes all power to God."  In sharp contrast, the Bible proclaims in 1st peter 1:18-19...

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

Amen and Amen!  There can be no salvation apart from Christ's redeeming literal physical blood (Hebrews 9:12).

Mary Baker Eddy denied the Godhead, i.e., the doctrine of the Trinity...

S&H 256:9

The theory of three persons in one God (that is, a personal Trinity or Tri-unity) suggests polytheism, rather than the one ever-present I AM.

As plainly seen, Christian Science is a false religion, which denies the deity of Jesus Christ, the Godhead, the redeeming blood sacrifice of Christ.

About the First Church of Christ, Scientist

After publication in 1875 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy's primary work on spirituality and healing, readers began meeting to discuss the ideas and share their healing results. Then, in 1879, Eddy established what became The First Church of Christ, Scientist (The Mother Church)…

It consists of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and around 2,000 branch churches and societies of Christ, Scientist, worldwide.

SOURCE: About the Church of Christ, Scientist

On the main page of ChristianScience.com is the flowing claim…

“Attacked by chest pains, a woman realizes that healing is always a correction of a false belief, not of an actual physical condition, and that the body — the embodiment of human thought — has no choice but to improve in obedience to corrected thought, which is in line with the divine. As a result, she’s healed.”

SOURCE: Christian Science - Healing - Spirituality

Biblically, this is not true at all.  Correct beliefs are no guarantee of physical healing.  This type of heresy by the Christian Science cult is akin to the same hocus-pocus being propagating by the Charismatic crowd today.  Being a Christian does NOT guarantee us health, wealth, and prosperity in this earthly life.  In fact, 2nd Timothy 3:12 guarantees the believer persecution in they genuinely live for Jesus Christ...

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

Tragically, Christian Science churches maintain Reading Rooms in most major cities in the world, where Mary Baker Eddy's writings can be read.

Satan is a Beautiful Liar!

Like other false religions, Christian Science speaks double-talk.  This is why many people are deceived by their craftiness.  As you have already seen from the information I've provided to you, Mary Baker Eddy denied that Jesus is God; yet she states in her "Tenets of The Mother Church" that she believes:

1.    As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life.

2.    We acknowledge and adore one supreme and infinite God. We acknowledge His Son, one Christ; the Holy Ghost or divine Comforter; and man in God's image and likeness.

3.    We acknowledge God's forgiveness of sin in the destruction of sin and the spiritual understanding that casts out evil as unreal. But the belief in sin is punished so long as the belief lasts.

4.    We acknowledge Jesus' atonement as the evidence of divine, efficacious Love, unfolding man's unity with God through Christ Jesus the Way-shower; and we acknowledge that man is saved through Christ, through Truth, Life, and Love as demonstrated by the Galilean Prophet in healing the sick and overcoming sin and death.

5.    We acknowledge that the crucifixion of Jesus and his resurrection served to uplift faith to under-stand eternal Life, even the illness of Soul, Spirit, and the nothingness of matter.

6.    And we solemnly promise to watch, and pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just, and pure.

Lest you should be deceived by such cunning words, consider again the blasphemous teaching of Mrs. Eddy...

"The Christian who believes in the First Commandment is a monotheist. Thus he virtually unites with the Jew's belief in one God, and recognizes that Jesus Christ is not God, as Jesus himself declared, but is the Son of God."

SOURCE: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, pg. 360:28

Eddy blatantly denies that Jesus is Almighty God, just as do the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Qualifications for Membership

The basic requirements for membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, are found on page 34 of the Church Manual, written by Mary Baker Eddy...

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Article IV

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP

Believe in Christian Science. SECTION 1.
To become a member of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, the applicant must be a believer in the doctrines of Christian Science, according to
the platform and teaching contained in the Christian Science textbook, SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES, by Rev. Mary Baker Eddy. The BIBLE, together with SCIENCE AND HEALTH and other works by Mrs. Eddy, shall be his only textbooks for self-instruction in Christian Science, and for teaching and practising metaphysical healing.

SOURCE: Becoming a Member - Qualifications

So to become a member of the Christian Science Church, you cannot believe that Jesus Christ is God, or that God has manifest Himself to mankind as a Godhead, i.e., God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  In reality, you cannot join The First Church of Christ, Scientist unless you are an unsaved heathen without Christ as Savior.  No Christian would ever deny the Deity of Jesus Christ.  If you don't believe that Jesus is God, then you are NOT saved!!!

Please notice that in John 8:24 that the pronoun "he" was added by the King James Version translators, indicated by its being in italics...

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM he, ye shall die in your sins."

Thus, Jesus was literally claiming to be God, i.e., the I AM of Exodus 3:14...

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

Jesus claimed to be God in John 10:33...

"The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."

In Revelation 1:8 Jesus proclaims to be "the Almighty."  John 1:1-3,14 clearly teach the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mary Baker Eddy and Occult Freemasonry

Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science, was an associate of 33rd Degree Freemason Henry Steele Olcott who founded the Satan worshipping cult called the "Theosophical Society" with evil female Freemason, mother of the New Age Movement and Hitler's spiritual guide, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.  Several Eddy brothers held séances and it was at one of these séances that Blavatsky met Col. Henry Steele Olcott.  Mary Baker Eddy even married a Freemason and this became the ONLY secret society which she allowed other Christian Science members to join.  Also she had her own material published in the Freemasons' Monthly Magazine.  Several people connected with Christian Science; such as, directors and board members and a number of the editors of The Christian Science Monitor were Freemasons.  Even the presidents of the Mother Church in 1922-23 and 1923-1924 were Masons.  For more information, read "Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated" by Dr. Cathy Burns.

Christian Scientist Freemasons

The names below are listed in the Masonic reference book called "10,000 Famous Freemasons" written by William R. Denslow, published by the Missouri Lodge of Research and has it's foreword written by ex-Usa President Harry S. Truman. Instead of just listing the names and pages they are listed on, I have typed the whole of each article to silence critics who may claim I have made this all up. Remember these guys were not 'backseat' christian scientists but played a vital role, some as high as president of The Mother Church. All this information explains why this cult uses a Masonic symbol. There is also a good chance that Mary Baker Eddy was a female freemason.

The text below comes from the book called "To Be God Of One World" by Robert Sessler who got most of this information from the book "The Watchtower And The Masons" by Fritz Springmeier.

What about the Church of Jehovah's Witnesses? This church was founded by Charles T. Russell. Russell was certainly well acquainted with the Occult and Masonry because he used the 33rd Degree Masonic Symbol 9winged sun-disk with opposing snakes) in some of his books! He also used the Knights Templar symbol (a cross inside a crown sometimes encircled by a wreathe or glory) in a number of his papers and books. Russell is also buried in a pyramid with Masonic symbols on its capstone.

Charles Russell even gave a sermon in which he stated that Jesus Christ was the "Grand Master" of this Order to which Russell and the rest of the Jehovah's Witnesses belonged! He stated:

"...the Lord Jesus, the grand and everlasting Head and Master of this Order... the Grand Master... We are not hindered from telling the ultimate purposes of this grand Secret Order which our Lord organized..."

But this tactic of trying to make Jesus Christ of Nazareth the head of a Secret Order devoted to the occult is nothing new. Adam Weishaupt states exactly the same thing about his Secret Order of the Illuminati, which is devoted to the occult:

"Jesus of Nazareth, the Grand Master of our Order, appeared at a time when the world was in the utmost disorder... he took in the aid of Religion... and, in a very clever manner, he combined his secret doctrines with the popular religion... and they have been handed down to us... by the Free Masons."

So there is very little difference seen between the "Order" or the Jehovah's Witnesses church that Russell founded, and the Order which Weishaupt founded for the purpose of bringing in and ruling a New Age. In fact Russell frequently talked about this New Age--calling it a "Golden Age" to come. He preached a sermon on it entitled "Must We Abandon Hope of a Golden Age." He even established a paper called The Golden Age which is now called Awake.

But is this teaching of the "Golden Age to come" exclusively Charles Russell's and the Jehovah's Witnesses? No!

"...the 17,500 [Masonic] lodges of the U.S. and Canada...are to act as harbingers of that 'New Order of the Ages,' that Great Golden Age that is to come... May the Masonic Order become reoriented to make its peculiar contribution to that Glorious Objective."

But this hope of a "Golden Age to come" does not originate with the Masons either. It is an ancient Egyptian and Babylonian term specifying the time which "men and gods could live together happily." Hence we see that this great push towards a New World Order for the Ages, is nothing more than the ancient Plan for a One World System.

But these occultic and spiritualistic teachings of Russell's did not pass away when he died, but continue within the church of Jehovah's Witnesses. The church teaches the New Age belief that "Now we are in the end of this gospel age, and the kingdom [of Christ] is being established or set up." That this kingdom "will obtain full, universal control...in the earth, [and that] He whose right it is thus to take dominion will then be present as earth's new Ruler" who will reign over "the new order of things on earth" in "His millennial kingdom."

They even teach that:

"...our minds [must be made] over so as to transform our lives in expectation of the approaching new world.... "Let us keep our minds new...[and then if] we live through this old world's complete end, we shall enter the new world with a mind made over...in tune with the glorious new world."

In fact they claim that the Society of Jehovah's Witnesses is "the New World society"! This society, ever since the days of Russell, is also involved in Pyramidology or the study of its geometric shape and measurements in order to predict future events. They even claim that it was the God of heaven that designed the pyramid!

"In the passages of the Great Pyramid [Cheops] of Giza...[when the measurements are combined with chronology] proves that the same God designed both pyramid and plan..."

But did God have anything to do with the plan or design of the Great Pyramids? No. Masonic leader Manly P. Hall writes:

"[To] the Egyptians the Great Pyramid was associated with Hermes, the god of wisdom and letters and the Divine Illuminator...the pyramid...was in reality the supreme temple of the Invisible and Supreme Deity....the first temple of the Mysteries, the first structure erected as a repository for those secret truths... "Through the mystic passageways and chambers of the Great Pyramid passed the illumined of antiquity. They entered its portals as men; they came forth as gods. It was the place of the 'second birth,' the 'womb of the Mysteries,' and ...Somewhere in the depths of its recesses there resided an unknown being who was called 'The Initiator,' or 'The Illustrious One..."

This "Initiator" into the Mysteries we know to be Lucifer, or Satan. So you can see that Jehovah's Witnesses are clearly involved with the teachings of Masonry, and hence the spiritualistic Luciferic doctrines of ancient Babylon.

Masonic Symbolism within the Cults of Jehovah's Witnesses and Christian Science

This is the Knights Templar Symbol for the York Rite of Freemasonry. This degree is equivalent to the 32nd Degree of Freemasonry and is the highest degree of the York Rite. Shown below is examples of how the Christian Science and Jehovah's Witnesses cult have used this symbol.

This is where Charles Taze Russell, 33rd Degree Freemason and founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses cult is buried.

Here is a close-up of the JW pyramid clearly showing the Masonic Knight Templar symbol and the All-Seeing Eye of the Illuminati at the peak. (see the U.S. $1 Bill)

The main logo for the Christian Science cult is also the Knights Templar symbol. (Christian Science Journal, Special Issue, December 1992)

Coming Soon

Ok so I've been a bit slow. But I'll always come through with the goods and as things stand I still have a lot more to add to this page including:-

More Masonic symbols on covers of original Jehovah Witnesses books The occult Illuminati ties that link the JW's, Mormonism and Freemasonry. The Jw's ripping off Mormon Masonic Pyramid prophecies! More proof that Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd Degree Freemason. Heaps of proof that the Mormon church was started by Freemasons and still controlled by them! If you are in urgent need of proof that Charles was a Freemason please find the book called "The Watchtower and the Masons" by Fritz Springmeier

Freemasons Donate Illuminati Pyramid as Gift for Grave of Mary Baker Eddy

Eddy Pyramid1921 - On the 100th anniversary of Mary Baker Eddy's birth, an exact replica of the Great Pyramid, made from a single piece of granite and weighing over 100 tons and 11 feet on each side, was carved and placed near the house where Eddy had been born, in New Hampshire. It was a gift from Freemasons. In the "Mary Baker Eddy Letter," December 25, 1997, we learn that when "the Board of Directors noted that too many Christian Scientists were visiting the grand granite marker at Bow ... that marked Mary Baker Eddy's birthplace, they had it destroyed, dynamited to bits!"

Eddy's first husband, George Washington Glover, was a Mason, and "thereafter membership in the Masonic Order was the one single 'outside' affiliation that was allowed to church members by Mrs. Eddy."

Christian Science and Freemasonry have maintained a symbiotic relationship. Many of the first churches established around the United States had gathered in Masonic Temples. To this day one can find the headquarters for many Christian Science associations having an address corresponding to the local Masonic lodge.

What you see on the tombstone of the founder of the Watchtower movement is the Knights Templar Symbol for the York Rite of Freemasonry (See below).  This degree is equivalent to the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry and is the highest degree of the York Rite indicating that he knew whom he was serving.  It was not Jesus Christ of Nazareth to be sure.  Shown below are examples of how the Christian Science and Jehovah's Witnesses cults have used this symbol.  This is where Charles Taze Russell (1852 - 1916), 33rd Degree Freemason and founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses cult is buried.

# 12 is Crusader's Symbol found in Masonic literature

Here is a close-up of the JW pyramid clearly showing the Masonic Knight Templar symbol and the All-Seeing Eye of the Illuminati at the peak (see the U.S. $1 Bill).

The main logo for the Christian Science cult is also the Knights Templar symbol. (Christian Science Journal, Special Issue, December 1992). This tombstone is all the proof we need that Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd Degree Freemason. Like the Mormon church, which also used Freemasonry as a backdrop, the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses was also started by Freemasons.

If you are in urgent need of proof that Charles Russell was a Freemason please find the book called The Watchtower and the Masons by Fritz Springmeier.

The books on the right lower side shows the Christian Science symbolism. The symbolism dates back to 1100 A.D. and was developed by Templar Masons from the Knights Templar in Germany.

Charles T Russell founded the JW movement in 1879 by starting his own magazine. He rejected his Presbyterian roots and joined a more liberal Congregational Church, then left that group as well. He denied the deity of Christ and the biblical teachings on hell and eternal punishment, which is typical of people who develop cults. Mormons do not believe in a biblical hell nor do Freemasons. Their teachings are rooted in evolution. In evolution it is only a matter of development in time and all humans will be promoted to some sort of paradisiacal new existence of one kind or another, whatever appeals to their physical senses the most. In example: Mormons believe in large families and polygamy so they are promised a planet where women can be forever pregnant and men can have a multitude of wives, women in serving their needs.

The Watchtower does not promise heaven but a peaceful paradisiacal existence during the Millennium when the sheep lay next to lions. According to the Watchtower, heaven is dedicated to a maximum of 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses, who have already been set aside, which is not biblical. Russell taught that Christ returned invisibly to the world in 1874, and in 1914 was the year the world would be destroyed and the Millennium would begin. For more information go to the Jehovah's Witnesses files.

Masonic Knights Templar Symbol

Tim LaHaye's book, The Power Of The Cross, features an occult symbol on the cover

The picture on the left is the cover of the recent book (1999) by Tim LaHaye called, The Power of the Cross. The one on the right is a centuries old Masonic symbol of the Knights Templar.  Some might mistake it for a Christian symbol, but Masonic author Ray Denslow reveals its true sinister meaning:

"The Cross and Crown may be said to be confined almost exclusively to the historical degrees in Masonry as exemplified in the various orders of knighthood of York and Scottish rites. In Gaul we find the cross to have been a solar symbol when it had equal arms and angles; to the Phoenicians it was an instrument of sacrifice to their God, Baal; and to the Egyptians, the crux ansata was his symbol of eternal life." (Ray V. Denslow, Masonic Portraits, Transactions of the Missouri Lodge of Research, vol. #29, p.7 — emphasis in the original)
33rd degree Masonic authority, Albert Pike, also wrote of the meaning of the above symbol in his book Morals and Dogma, explaining that it has a sexual connotation to it as well (Why is this symbol on a 'Christian' book cover?).  Was it also a coincidence that LaHaye and his associates set up their Pretrib Research Center in a place that's considered a vortex of occultic power in Washington D.C.?  They were located on L'Enfant Promenade, a street named after the Mason Pierre Charles L'Enfant who designed the city in Masonic and Occultic symbols.  From there, coincidently, they moved their research center to the Dallas area, another city that is sacred to Freemasonry because of its proximity to the 33rd degree of latitude.  Christians aren't supposed to believe in coincidences?

The Freemason occult is the common denominator.

Religion: The Occult Connection

Christian Science falsely claims...

"...Christian Science meets a yearning of the human race for spirituality" (Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and
Founder of Christian Science and author of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures).

The human race wants spirituality without the Truth of God's Word.  This is why most people today have churchianity without Christianity; and religion without salvation.  Christian Science is a demonic organization and there's nothing scientific about it.  Mary Baker Eddy denied the Godhead and the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, just as did Charles Russell (Jehovah's Witness founder), Joseph Smith (founder of Mormonism) , and Ellen G. White (founder of the Seventh-Day Adventist cult).  These people ALL denied the Deity of Jesus Christ and are burning in the fires of Hell this moment.

Please don't be deceived... The Christian Science religion is straight out of the pits of Hell.

Ye Must Be Born Again! | You Need HIS Righteousness!
