Cuban government took action against an epidemic of lewd dirty-dancing,
a new Rap-based genre called,
REGGAETON. The
vile music is rooted in demeaning women, promoting shameful sexually

because they are so lewd and indecent. The demonic style of immoral music
began in Puerto Rico and has now spread throughout the Caribbean Islands,
Cuba and even into places in Europe and the United States.

lyrics prompt an official reaction. Less clear is who determines what’s too
hot, and what penalties will be applied for problematic lyrics.
HAVANA – At 10 o'clock on a
Saturday night, the Mariana Grajales park in downtown Havana pulses with a
thumping beat. Young men in drooping trousers and women in miniskirts dance,
raise their hands in the air and grind pelvis to pelvis amid whooping,
clapping and coarse jokes.
The risque dance style known as "perreo," which translates loosely as
"dogging," is associated with reggaeton, an up-tempo mix of reggae, hip-hop
and Latin rhythms that was popularized in Puerto Rico and has become a
mainstay on Cuban TV and radio.
Now, the music finds itself squarely in the sights of critics who lament the
genre's notoriously suggestive lyrics, steamy videos and periodic
misogynistic stereotyping.
Cuban authorities recently announced restrictions, reportedly declaring
state-run recording studios and broadcasts off-limits to songs with
questionable lyrics. They also prohibit such music in performance spaces
subject to government control.
The rules would theoretically apply to all genres, but it's reggaeton that
leading cultural lights have singled out for criticism in official media
while warning of new rules governing "public uses of music."
Legislators are also studying a bill to regulate the airwaves and
performance spaces. Artists would face potential sanctions for lyrics and
performances deemed too racy, although it's not yet clear who would be the
official arbiters of taste or what penalties may be imposed.
"It has been decided," said Danilo Sirio Lopez, director of the Cuban
Institute of Radio and Television, in a December speech to lawmakers. "We
will not play one more rude song, one more base song, one more song with
offensive lyrics or videos that attack or denigrate the image of women."
The proposal apparently falls short of an outright ban, but in a country
where the government is the main patron of the arts and controls all
airwaves, the threat of losing access to broadcasts, production facilities
and performance spaces sends a clear message to reggaetoneros: Clean up your
act or else.
The past year's hit song, "Quimba Pa' Que Suene," by Los Principales,
translates gently as "Shake It So It Goes Off" and is a kind of homage to
masturbation. The video was uploaded to YouTube and heralded as "the new
hymn of Cuban youth," and for the last year it could be heard booming at top
volume at private parties, school events and other get-togethers.
The runaway smash "El Chupi Chupi," by Osmani Garcia and various artists,
was also criticized for its creative wordplay about sexual acts. "Go on make
yourself pretty, and turn out the lights, the orgy has begun," goes one of
the few lines printable in a family website.
Officials, critics and the influential Cuban Women's Federation derided both
songs as vulgar and demeaning to women.
"Obviously everyone is free to listen in private to whatever music they
want," said Orlando Vistel, president of the Cuban Music Institute, an arm
of the Culture Ministry that promotes music. "But that freedom does not
include the right to reproduce it and play it in state or private
restaurants or cafeterias, public buses or public spaces in general."
Whether the government can successfully crack down on the music remains to
be seen.
NOT COMPLETELY ISOLATED
Cuba's unique political and economic model may leave many cut off from the
Internet and other global phenomena, but they haven't insulated the island
from all of the region's trends, said Roberto Zurbano, a promoter at the
government-run cultural institute Casa de las Americas. Reggaeton's
popularity on the island is a product of those influences, he said.
"Reggaeton is a music that very much reflects the era, an era of
marginalization," Zurbano said. "In general reggaeton is about the poor
people of the Caribbean, with its poverty, violence, precariousness,
machismo, the avalanche of television, consumerism and the lack of values."
Experts also credit reggaeton's popularity to its simple but catchy beat.
And they say it's here to stay, as evidenced by artists from other genres
such as salsa incorporating the sound into their music.
"[It’s] very easy to dance to. It should be no surprise that it has caught
on so easily among young people," said Raul Fernandez, a professor at the
School of Social Sciences of the University of California, Irvine, who has
written about Cuban music.
"The lyrics to dance music are often not exemplary in a literary sense," he
added, but "people aren't going to dance in order to be educated by the
lyrics."
Indeed, some fans barely notice the slangy, rapid-fire lyrics, or say it's
not the main attraction.
"I really like reggaeton. It has a beat that fires me up," said Yanet Perez,
a 28-year-old Havana resident. "It's fun to dance to because of the way it
gets you moving, although the lyrics sometimes can be bad or slimy."
Records with explicit lyrics in the United States have carried parental
warning labels since the 1980s, and last year the Rihanna video "S&M" was
banned in at least 11 countries. In 2009, Jamaica prohibited songs and
videos with explicit references to sex and violence from being broadcast on
radio or TV.
The backlash against reggaeton has historical echoes in Cuba, where genres
such as danzon, cha-cha, timba and salsa once scandalized older generations
by pushing contemporary boundaries of sensuality. Today, they are firmly
established in the musical mainstream.
In the 1960s the Beatles were banned from Cuban radio, and some fans were
forced to cut their long hair, reprimanded at work or passed over for jobs.
Now, a Havana plaza boasts a statue of John Lennon and the nearby
Beatles-themed bar The Yellow Submarine is a thriving nightspot.
Ironically, some of those who would clamp a lid on reggaeton's excesses once
rebelled against their own elders by listening clandestinely to John, Paul,
George and Ringo.
"Reggaeton is very popular among young people," said 22-year-old singer
Carlitos "Papi" Chacon, who avoids explicit lyrics in his own music but
acknowledged that many of his peers "say crazy stuff."

This study is about reclaiming ourselves as
vehicles for the Divine. Because dance was forbidden by Christianity as
religious expression (Drinker, 1948), we, as a culture, became
disembodied and disempowered in relation to Spirit. Each time I dance is
an opportunity to unite more deeply with the Divine, just as each breath
we take is an invitation to deepen into ourselves. Combining my
extensive Reiki and dance training, I plan to create a movement
technique for healing and re-connection. This technique will be heavily
based in Chakra Integration within Congolese, Afro-Cuban, Middle Eastern
and Hip Hop Dance styles. I will teach this technique to a small group
of co-researchers and examine it's effectiveness through our physical,
spiritual, mental and emotional experiences.

make a mock at sin...” (Proverb 14:9).
Just as the Hawaiians still blame and hates
Christianity today for taking away their dirty-dancing centuries ago, so do
many people around the world (as witnessed in the preceding quote from an

Dancing Promotes Sexual Immorality
Dancing
is just as sinful at high school proms, ballrooms, town gatherings, etc. Dancing and immodest dress are synonymous. Dancing leads to
lasciviousness (i.e., immoral sexual desire). The ONLY place where
dancing is acceptable is between a husband and wife in the privacy of their
own home, and without observation by others. America has deteriorated
into a sexually perverted nation, where sensual and suggestive dancing is
commonplace. As a result, millions of unwanted babies continue
to be murdered every year through abortion. This is a great evil in
America! We have earned the title from Muslims of being THE GREAT
SATAN!
Think about it ... the average person today can't help but
laugh at the thought that dancing is a sin; yet millions of unplanned
pregnancies continue to be terminated through murderous abortions. Is
it surprising that a nation that sees no harm in murdering children
would also see no harm in premarital sex, petting, dancing, pornography,
stealing, divorcing, and
filthy conversation? I think not.
God will not bless a wicked nation whose
citizens disobey His Word. America today as a morally-toxic society. This is
a dangerous place to raise a family. Children are being indoctrinated and
corrupted by the Communist public school system. Men are being corrupted by
the sensual filth and pornographic smut that has overtaken and ruined our
country. Women are being brainwashed by feminism, indoctrinated to destroy

Young girls today, they want to
have fun. Young girls today just wanna party. Today young girls wanna go to

beings incapable of divinity. Deuteronomy 6:4 teaches that there is ONE God.
Feminism leads women to seek EQUALITY in
authority, as Lucifer did (Isaiah 14:14). God has ordained the man as the
leader of the home (1st Peter 3:1), and a man as the leader of a local New
Testament Church (1st Timothy 2:12), and God is a
masculine God without any feminine aspect. Women who desires equality in
authority are sinning against God. A woman's place is in the
home baking cookies (1st Timothy 5:14-15). American society is so messed up
economically and morally that it requires a commitment by Christian husbands
and wives to live very simple, without all the toys and conveniences of
modern-day society that cost so much money. If you live within your means,
and don't follow the sinful world, then a wife doesn't need to work outside
the home.
Feminism has engineered American women to be
schizophrenic, turn against their husbands, file for divorce, and go on a
journey for the impossible dream. Feminism has disillusioned women to the
point where they hate men and would rather become lesbian. As high-level
political, legislative, and executive positions are filled with lesbians and
homosexuals; America is fast headed for destruction. Christians will be
persecuted (2nd Timothy 3:12), prosecuted and killed (John 16:2). But have
cheer my friend if you are a born-again Christian who loves the Lord (John
16:33). The Lord will PUT DOWN all rule, authority and power
when He returns in glory (1st Corinthians 15:24). Amen and amen!
All you lesbian judges will be begging for
mercy on that day, before THE JUDGE (Philippians 2:10-11). There
won't be any feminists in Heaven, because God won't tolerate that garbage up
there. You'll be cleaning toilets and begging for crumbs under the Master's
table. Only in the retarded U.S.A. are women put in charge of armies. It is
unbiblical for women to lead men in any capacity. In the real world that

All Public Sensual Dancing is of the Devil
All sensual dancing is of the Devil, whether it be the
Tango, the Foxtrot, the Rumba, the Swing, et cetera. It's because dancing is inherently
fleshly. Some dancing schools even advertise “Touch Dancing.” Women who dance, immodestly expose their bodies, luring
lustful men to sinfully gaze upon them. According to Jesus' Words in
Matthew 5:28, lust is sinful ... But I say unto you, That whosoever
looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her
already in his heart.” Dancing has always been dirty and
sinful.
Now, I think Square Dancing, if done
tastefully, can be good wholesome fun. I also think the Hawaiian Hula, if
long dresses are worn and the dancing is carefully executed, can be
appropriate. But anything that involves men caressing the opposite sex, or
women shaking their butts, where sexual passions are aroused, is extremely
evil!!!
It was the sin of dancing that swayed Herod to execute John
the Baptist. Mark 6:22, “And when the daughter of the
said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with
him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I
will give it thee.” It was the sensual dancing of Herodias' daughter
that stirred lusts in Herod, and led him into further sin. Dancing
leads people further into sin. I guarantee you that most people who
dance are also pro-choice, because both practices are immoral.
In 2nd Samuel 6:14 we are told that king David
“danced” before the Lord. It is important to note that David was not
sensually dancing in the sense that many people do today. David was
simply rejoicing before the Lord with jumping and shouting. Jesus
NEVER danced sensually, seducing the crowd with his hips and gyrating motion
like Elvis Presley. None of the Apostles ever danced. Sensual
dancing is a pagan practice. Anywhere sin is
found in this world, you will likely find dirty-dancing. Dancing is commonly
associated with nightclubs, prostitution, gambling, drunkenness, immorality,
immodest dress, and other forms of godlessness. Dancing is a carnal
and fleshly practice that glorifies the body, and generates sexual lust.
Ballet dancing is extremely promiscuous, VERY SINFUL, because the women dance in their underwear,
giving explicit views of their crotches, doing the splits with their
underwear visible for the world to see. I'm not to to get graphic here, but
you get the picture. The audience is “turned on” to say the least, unless
they're dead. I don't have a dirty mind, I have a man's mind, and I cannot
watch ballet without lusting. Those women who dance while skating are
filthy. It is offensive to God. Ballet Dancing is sexually
arousing and; therefore, extremely sinful. The same people who scoff at
my preaching are the same people who have no problem with abortion, divorce,
nor fornication. Ballet dancing is filthy.
“Dance Moms”
is one of the most evil television programs ever aired. Little girls are
taught to parade themselves as sluts, even told that the audience should
view them as being “nude.” Stupid mothers encourage their daughters to
partake of the lewd and sinful behavior, gyrating their little bodies in
sexy attire, trying to “turn on” the viewer. Perverts!!! Our sick-minded
society accepts the lewd exploitation of our youth by ungodly Walt Disney,
Hollywood and the media, while vehemently condemning sexual crimes against
children. Ladies and gentlemen, that is insane!!! I triple-dog dare you to
go search YouTube for “Walt Disney perversion”!!! I dare you to type,
“sexual exploitation of children by media.” Prepare to be shocked!!! ...
Leviticus 19:29, “Do not
prostitute thy
daughter, to cause her to be a whore;

Tragically,
most
cheerleaders are dressed sinfully and regularly perform sexually-suggestive
dances while cheerleading. Although seemingly harmless to most people
(because of the hardness of sin),
it is such indecent practices as immodest cheerleading that corrupts
society's morals and leads to more sexual crimes. Evil always begets
more evil.
Television doesn't make people go commit adultery.

producers, who make adulterous movies to inspire adulterous people, to
commit adultery. Hollywood stirs unholy passions in people's souls,
inspiring them to sin. Likewise, dancing can do the same thing. Touching the
opposite sex often leads to adultery.
Cheerleading can be
done properly, but a woman's legs should never leave the ground, let alone
wearing miniskirts. All miniskirts are sinful, and should NEVER be
worn by any Christian woman. It hypocritical and clear evidence that
Roman Catholicism is of the Devil, that their school girls are dressed in
miniskirts (i.e., official uniform). It is evil. You've got
priests who aren't allowed to be married (which is totally unbiblical, 1st
Timothy 4:3), and
then those same priests are surrounded by girls in miniskirts. No
wonder there are so many perverts in the Catholic Church! We live in
a sex-sicko society!
Today's sicko society laughs and scorns the
Biblical teaching of chastity, standards, virtue, and morality. In a recent
movie, Happy Feet (which is clearly aimed towards
children), dancing is greatly promoted. What's very disturbing in the
film is that the older penguins who are AGAINST Happy Feet's dancing are
portrayed as old, harsh, unreasonable, mean, and foolish. This is
brainwashing! Little children who watch this movie are subconsciously
taught that dancing is acceptable, and anyone who says it's not are out of
touch with reality. The truth is that sensual dancing DOES corrupt society, and
should be shunned by every born-again believer in Christ.
It would be a cold day in Hell before I'd ever
let my daughters go dancing at a high school prom. You hear the news, full
of stories of date-rape, booze, reckless teenage behavior. Hollywood has
glorified such foolishness so much in movies, that teens today want to
emulate that stupidity, which often ruins their lives. And their retarded
parents go along with it, until it's their precious child who dies in a
fiery car crash while inebriated with alcohol! Teen partying is a game of
Russian Roulette. Where are the parents? Instead, a church youth activity is
MUCH BETTER! The world continually criticizes the churches, while their
children go to the Devil. The church on its worst day is better than the
world on its best day!
Teenagers are Confused Today by All the
Different Voices
Teenagers
are confused today, because they're hearing a bunch of different voices.
There's the voice of their parents. There's the voice of the church. There's
the voice of the world. There's the voice of their friends. There's the
voice of their inner self. There's the voice of their school teachers.
There's the voice of the Devil. To a developing teenager, the voice of their
friends and the world are the most influential at that age. That's why
teenagers absolutely need to be protected, placed into a Christian school,
to remove (as much as possible) the voice of the world and wrong friends.
There are still bad kids even in a Christian school, but nothing compared to
the Devil's public school nightmare!!! Satan wants your child. All you have
to do to lose them is to enroll them into public school. You might as well
feed them to a pack of ravening wolves!
The Happy
Feet movie also promotes whoremongering. At one point in the movie
the leader of the penguins, Lovelace, says that he wants to indulge
in romantic pleasures with his eight female penguin companions. He then
asks, “Which one of you is first?” This is the godless
immoral lifestyle that many rock-n-roll performers are living today. Rock-n-roll is a religion of sexual immorality! Throughout the
Happy Feet movie, romance is stressed, and penguins are paired up for
mating; but no mention of marriage is ever made in the movie. Clearly
children are being introduced to a demonic lifestyle of sexual fornication,
whoremongering, dancing, and rebellion against God.
Hawaiians Have Been Taught by Evil
People to Hate Christianity
The Hawaiian hula is the filthiest dance on earth
(with some exceptions; if there is no sensuality, then I think it is okay). I can
understand why the Christian missionaries tried to mentor the natives away
from it. People today criticize the early missionaries like they were bad
people, and perhaps some of them were; but they were justified in trying to
change the Hawaiian culture from one of paganism and sexual immorality to
one of grace, chastity, belief in Jesus Christ, and decency. Hawaii is a
very sinful place today, and the hula is as filthy as ever. The bottom line
is that dancing is a worldly entertainment, heathen. Dancing is a very
physically activity, which basically gives men a dirty show to watch, and in
many cases, touch. Truly, the love of money is the root of all evil (1st
Timothy 6:10).
In fact, Hawaiian women have been taught to
have much contempt against Christianity, so when they do the hula, many of
them deliberately make it as sleazy and whorish as they can. All of the
islands are saturated with sinfulness, naked women, dirty-dancing and
apostasy. It is very difficult to find moral people, even amongst professing
Christians, in the island cultures near the equator.
No normal man can watch a woman jumping around in
her panties without getting aroused. As Christians, we must rise above the filth
and immorality of this sinful world. I've known people who were
actively involved in some sort of dancing. In every case, they were
worldly—going to gambling casinos, homosexual-friendly, drinking beer,
attending nightclubs, indulging in sexual sins—running from God. I've never
met one soulwinner who was a dancer. I've never met a dedicated,
Christ-honoring, sin-hating Christian who went dancing. The unsaved world
loves dancing, because it is sexually suggestive and filthy. Jesus didn't
dance!
Tragically, Walt Disney and other ungodly
companies are working relentlessly to make dancers out of all of America's
children. It's sickening to see little children on TV bopping and strutting
to worldly music. Dancing is lewd and deplorable, and encompasses a sinful spirit of selfish
pride. Do you think the Lord Jesus approves of such worldliness?
Sensual Dancing Promotes the Works of
the Flesh
I was recently walking through a local shopping
mall. I heard rhythmatic jungle music. I saw a group of dozens of children
and a hundred or so observing parents. The kids were strutting to the music.
The little girls were shaking their butts, gyrating to the music. They
couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 years old. They were wearing revealing
spandex. I walked away in disgust. What is wrong with parents today? The
same thing that has always been wrong in a wicked society, people become
weak and fleshly. When Christianity flourishes, people at best try to live
right in the Lord. But when heathendom flourishes, people descend to the
level of animals, doing what feels good, doing my own thing, “Do as thou
wilt” as satanist Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) put it.
I've never seen so many effeminate young people
as nowadays in the store, and they despise me when they see my “Jesus” hat.
Homosexuals hate Christianity!!! They are hardened sinners. They're like
Roman Catholics, in the sense that you first have to get them lost, before
you can get them saved. Homosexuals have to repent, not in the sense of
forsaking homosexuality, but in judging them self as a needy sinner, and
that is something very few will ever do. You cannot get saved until you come
to Christ, and only admitted ungodly sinners are willing to do that. That is
exactly what John 3:20 means, “For every one that doeth evil
hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be
reproved.”
Titus 2:5 plainly states that women are “to
be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands,
that the word of God be not blasphemed.” This is the exact
opposite of what children are
being taught today. Just as with homosexuality, dancing goes
against everything which the Word of God teaches. Don't be fooled into
thinking that dancing is just innocent fun, there is an immoral mindset that
goes with dancing. If you love Jesus Christ and care about what God thinks,
then it should matter to you what the Bible teaches. I care, do you?
One of the most disgusting and sinful movies ever produced is “Dirty Dancing.” Dirty Dancing (1987) starred Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, and
