How Angry Is God Over Sin?

Revelation 9:10,18-19, “And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months...By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.”
Most people today are too busy eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage (moving on from one failed marriage to another) as Jesus warned in Matthew 24:37-38 to take heed of the warnings in the book of Revelation. God's incredibly patient longsuffering with the wicked won't endure much longer.
One of the most horrifying chapters in the Bible is found in Revelation 9, teaching about scorpion-like creatures, but much worse, which will ascend out of the bottomless pit, breathing our fire and brimstone to kill men. The Bible says that these deadly creatures will sting men and cause excruciating pain for 5 months. God is going to pour out His wrath upon the wickedness of mankind during the last 3 1/2 years of the 7-year Tribulation. Jesus referred to this as a time of “Great Tribulation” (Matthew 24:21). People will seek death and not be able to find it. Horrors will cover the earth.
Revelation 9:18 tells us that these creatures will kill one-third part of men (which would mean about 2,333,000,000 people if the Lord returned this moment). As of a 2011 consensus, there were 7,000,000,000 people alive on earth. Literally, billions of people will be attacked by these aggressive creatures which appear from the smoke of the Bottomless Pit. People will be stung and tormented for 5-months, and then they will die and go to Hell, perishing forever without hope. No doubt many people will be stung multiple times. Just look at the piercing tail in the above picture. This is how angry God is about sin today!!!
Revelation 9:6, “And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” Can you imagine? People will desire to kill themselves, but will be unable to do so, likely from the paralyzing affect of the sting. This sounds like a horrific film scene out of Tales From The Darkside or Tales From The Crypt. No one will be spared the wrath of God upon humanity. If you have been wondering how much God hates sin, or why He is so tolerant of man's wickedness today in the world, just keep in mind that God is going to kill BILLIONS of people by the most horrifying slow, torturous, death imaginable during the Great Tribulation. And after all that, the wicked will be cast into Hell, awaiting judgment at The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15).
I'll tell you what friend, I'm glad that I won't be here for the Tribulation Period. The Bible tells us to comfort one another in 1st Thessalonians 4:18 with the teaching of the Rapture, knowing that we will be CAUGHT UP to be with the Lord (1st Thessalonians 4:17). The Church will not go into the Tribulation. This of course means a Pretribulation Rapture (i.e., the Rapture will come before the Tribulation begins). I don't expect many people to be Raptured. My guess is less than one-percent of humanity will be raptured. Christ plainly said that NO MAN, not even the angels in Heaven, know when the time of His return shall be (Mark 13:32-37). Only a pretribulation Rapture view supports this vital Biblical doctrine of Christ's sudden, imminent and unpredictable return.
There will be many people saved during the Tribulation. The Bible says that the Tribulation will be shortened to only 7-years for the sake of those saved. Mark 13:20, “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”
The photo at the beginning of this article is of a frightening scorpion. The creatures described in the Word of God in Revelation chapter 9 also have razor-sharp teeth as of a lion, the face of a man, the hair of a woman, breastplates of iron, their wings sound as chariots, and they're like horses prepared unto battle (Revelation 9:7-11). It is clear from the Scriptures that these creatures will be from Hell, and will breath out fire and brimstone, killing BILLIONS of people. Whether you believe the Bible or not won't prevent prophecy from happening. The question is: will you be here when it happens?
There are hundreds of Bible prophecies which have already been fulfilled, including all the Messianic prophecies. Only a complete fool would question the validity of the prophecies of Revelation in view of all the fulfilled prophecies we have already witnessed. If God says that fire-breathing, scorpion-like, creatures are going to ascend out of the bottomless pit and torment men day-and-night for 5-months, until they die under horrifying circumstances...I wouldn't doubt God!
I BELIEVE GOD! I BELIEVE GOD! I BELIEVE GOD!
Billions of people will be killed during the Tribulation. God hates sin more than you can possibly image.
This is how angry God is today over sin. You won't hear many preachers tell you what I'm saying, but it's 100% Biblical. Ecumenical apostate preachers only talk about God's love; but they totally ignore Scripture passages such as Revelation 9 where God is going to unleash His fury upon humanity in the most horrifying manner. You've never seen a horror movie any scarier than the horrifying reality of the Tribulation Period. The Bible says that it will be a time of woe which mankind has never known.
The Bible says not to fear man that can only destroy our body; but fear God Who can destroy both body and soul in Hell forever. Here is more Scriptural evidence of Hell. If there were no literal place called Hell where the damned spend eternity, then it would make no sense to say that God can destroy both body and soul in Hell forever. Men may kill one's body; but God can go much further and kill the soul as well in Hell forever. Clearly, bodily death and the killing of the soul are not the same thing. This plainly evidences that the Mormon claim of the word “hell” only meaning the grave in the Old Testament is false. If God can kill both the soul and the body in Hell; obviously this is much more than merely killing the earthly body.
Why Does God Allow the Wicked to Prosper?
As a Christian I often become frustrated and angry over the evil and wickedness in the world today. It makes me angry that thieves and robbers can steal trillions-upon-trillions of dollars from American taxpayers and no one is arrested. Over one million Iraqis are dead because somebody lied and beared false witness against them; but no one is held accountable, no one goes to jail, no one is punished for the evils. And then to make matters worse, the same rotten murderers steal all their oil in Iraq. The evil happening today is unprecedented throughout history. Ah, but God is still on His throne and He is diligently paying attention to what is going on. Don't think for a second that God doesn't see the evil. If you are suffering, God sees it I assure you. God has His reasons for everything. Don't put God on trial. Let God be God!
We learn clearly in Revelation 9:1-18 that God is fed up with men's sins, and He will not sit back idle on the matter. 2nd Peter 3:9 tells us that God is patient, long-suffering, and not willing for any to perish; and so God waits patiently for more souls to come to Him in Christ Jesus for forgiveness of sins and salvation. Billions of people will suffer excruciating pain under horrifying circumstances and then be killed by God during the Tribulation. Do not then make the mistake my friend, of thinking that God is not real, or is not paying attention. The Bible even addresses the issue of God being seemingly absent while sinners party and prosper in their unrestrained wickedness...
Ecclesiastes 8:12, “Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him.”
So you see, even in the Bible it is shown that God normally does not strike down the wicked with lightning when they sin. Rather, the Bible teaches that man's judgment is delayed, while men heap coals of fire upon their own head toward Judgment Day (Romans 12:20). This is God's way. We tend to want immediate justice when someone defrauds us or hurts us; but this is not God's method. God waits, giving a person the opportunity to do their worse if that's what they so choose to do; but in the end, their judgment will be unbearable, irreversible, and eternal.
This is why we see arrogant Wall Street bankers and Washington D.C. politicians who laugh in our face, while stealing trillions-of dollars from taxpayers. This is why some of our nation's leaders lie, kill innocent people, steal their oil, and then make jokes and laugh about their crimes. They have not been brought to justice, and never will be in this wicked world; but Hebrews 9:27 PROMISES judgment after one's death. No one will escape God's hand of Judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14).
The psalmist in the Old Testament felt that God had gone off to sleep. Ever felt that way?
Psalms 44:23, “Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.”
With all the wickedness in the world today, and all the rotten people hurting others, one cannot help but wonder where God is at in all this. I assure you friend that God is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (all-present), and omnipotent (all-powerful), and He does care (1st Peter 5:7). The Bible says we live by faith and not by sight. Placing demands on God is living by sight; instead, we must trust God by faith with all our heart, and lean not unto our own understanding (Proverb 3:5-7). God has promised to avenge us of our enemies, and repay those who wrong us; but it will be in God's own time, in His way, and in His place.
There is no doubt that the Jews in slavery in Egypt felt abandoned by God. They were slaves for 400-years! Most of them prayed for freedom, but died in slavery. It appeared that God had forgotten His people no doubt. Ah, but God raised up a deliverer, Moses, to free His people. Why did God wait 400-years? It is wrong to place God on trial, judging Him by our frail standards and understanding, because we simply cannot grasp God's thoughts and ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We often see the righteous suffer and the wicked prosper. It is frustrating to say the least; but this will NOT be the situation in eternity, when the righteous will be happy and blessed, and the wicked will rot in Hell.
Conclusion
God is angry over sin and has not gone off to sleep I assure you. The fact of the matter is that God is longsuffering and patient, not willing for any to perish (2nd Peter 3:9); but once the Rapture of the saints has taken place, billions of people will be tortured horrifically and killed by God during the last 3 1/2 years of the 7-year Tribulation period, known as THE GREAT TRIBULATION. God will punish the world for their wickedness and evil (Isaiah 13:11). Hell will be their eternal abode. God will have the final say.
