Zondervan and Satan Share Parents

Does it seem odd to anyone with a brain and a love for Christ that world's largest Bible publisher is owned by the same company, HarperCollins, that publishes The Satanic Bible?  Is it an understatement to say that this is a massive conflict of interests? Of course not for HarperCollins. It's great for the bottom-line. Play both sides.

In e-mail correspondence with Zondervan I was assured that their leadership is autonomous from that of HarperCollins And yet, independent decision making cannot justify placing oneself ultimately under the authority of the enemy...that it would not grieve Zondervan's leadership that pennies from every sale support the promotion of not just questionable materials, but the Satanic Bible, of all things, seems like a Peretti novel in the making.

What fellowship does light have with darkness? Who cares if they don't censor you, they are making money off godly men and women, and using it to pad their pockets and promote that which offends God. Obedience is better than sacrifice Zondervan. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap."

Perhaps it's time to gaze once more upon their own mission statement which says, "To be the leading Christian communications company meeting the needs of people with resources that glorify Jesus Christ and promote biblical principles."

How does such an alliance glorify Christ and honor His principles?

Anyone?
