Colossians 3:1-3, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
Most people are not going to Heaven. The Bible teaches this in
Matthew 7:13-14. Most people have been blinded by Satan (2nd
Corinthians 4:4). The Bible teaches that Satan masquerades as an
angel of light, and his unrighteous ministers masquerade as being
good. Satan uses worldly philosophies, false religion, evolution and
humanism to blind people's MINDS, to hinder them from coming to the
saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thus, it's not surprising that
most people spend their lives pursuing shallow interests, careers
and endeavors. Most people have the wrong priorities, goals and
ambitions in life.
Abraham Lincoln is quoted as saying:
“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”
Albeit, today we are living in apostate times when you can brainwash all the people all the time. The wicked mainstream newsmedia has been highly successful brainwashing the American public. It is truly sad and frustrating to see so many people dumber than a rock. The reason why people are so gullible is because truth is not important to them. I woke up and became a truth-seeker in April of 2002 (the month I began this website). I have been plowing forward and never looking back since. I must have the truth. I want the truth. I am willing to pay to buy books and videos to research the truth. I am always on the lookout for truth.
One man asked me years ago where I find all the interesting things on my website. I find them everywhere I go, because I am always hungry for truth. The average person is not looking for truth, so they don't see when it's right in front of them. My website ministry is concentrated truth. I have taken all of the things which I have learned over the years and condensed them into what you see. Truth is the highest priority in my life. I'll die for the truth.
Jesus is the truth (John 14:6). The Bible is truth (John 17:17). Jesus' Words are truth (John 6:63). Jesus came into the world to bear witness to the truth (John 18:37). The Bible says in 2nd Thessalonians 2:10 that the masses of this world will be deceived by the coming Antichrist because “THEY RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH.” Do you love the truth? The truth is more important than you may think, for salvation itself means coming to the knowledge of the truth.
Hebrews 10:26, “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”
The gospel is the
knowledge of the truth. If you've heard the gospel and have rejected
it, then there remaineth no sacrifice for sin. Jesus Christ is the
Lamb of God, the sacrifice which God has provided for our sins.
There is no other sacrifice. If you reject Christ, then you are
going to burn in Hell forever. Salvation is found ONLY in the
precious name of Jesus (Acts 4:10-12). Galatians 3:26, “For ye
are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
The Love of Money is a Sin!
Most people think money is important. In fact, money is their reason for living. Money is their false god. As a God-fearing Christian who believes that the Bible is God's inspired Words, I have no interest in making nor accumulating money. You can have it all my friend. I hate money. I hate it. I hate what it does to people. There's just something about money that when you have it, it has you. I won't have close association with a money-hungry person, and that is Biblical (1st Corinthians 5:11). Have no company with a covetous person.
The greatest things in life are not things. Boy this is good stuff! You won't hear this anywhere else today. I speak as a born-again Christian whose affection is set on things above. Is sharing the gospel
important to you? Is serving Jesus Christ important to you? I didn't
ask if religion is important to you. Religion is a horrible thing.
What means a lot to you? The Bible tells us to value the things of
Jesus Christ. Consider Philippians 2:20-21, “For I have no man
likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. For all seek
their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.” If you
think that these Scriptures only apply to ministers and full-time
Christian workers, then you are a fool. Proverbs 11:30 says,
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that
winneth souls is wise.” Witnessing the gospel to lost sinners is
for every believer. Are you a soul-winner?
Public Nudity is a Sin!
Fame and fortune are more important to many people than obeying God. This is why millions of women over the decades have removed their clothes to be photographed for catalogs, films, movies and commercials. Most people laugh at the teaching that girls and women ought not pose in their underwear in a catalog. Countless men search through those catalogs and lust upon those naked women. Modesty is important to God (1st Timothy 2:9). Is modesty important to you? You ladies ought not leave women's clothing catalogs laying around in your home.
Sadly, some women approve of their husbands possessing pornography. It is wickedness. Many women possess male pornography. Nudity is a sin, whether male or female; but especially for the females since men are sexually aroused by sight. No women or girl should ever strip naked for any reason in public. Beaches are some of the most wicked places in the world.
Hawaii and other warm
tourist destinations are spiritually dangerous places because of
nudity. Women wear skimpy bathing suits that reveal 100% of their
body. You can see their buttocks clear through the bikini. Many of
them expose their teats, because there's no bra padding. Perhaps you
say, “Boy, you have a dirty mind.” No, I have a man's mind. And
you're an idiot if you disagree with the Bible. God is a holy God.
Holiness is moral perfection. Public nudity is immoral and causes
lust, fornication, adultery and all manner of sexual sins.
Colossians 3:5-6, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the
earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil
concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which
things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of
disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived
in them.” Modest dress is important to God and ought to be
important to you. If it's not, get your wicked heart right with
God!!!
Homosexuality and Abortion are Wickedness!
Abortion is murder! Life is important to God. Is life important to you? The abortion industry is abounding iniquity. Matthew 24:12 says “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” The Greek word for iniquity here is anomia and means “unpunished evil.” It means that wickedness is legalized and nothing is done about evil. In July of 2011 same-sex marriage became legal in the state of New York. Homosexual marriages will be made federal law (the law of the land) in 2013, mark my words! God's judgment is long overdue upon America! We are a stiffnecked and sinful people.
God must judge our nation. God will turn our glory into shame. If God spared not divine judgment upon His own people, Israel, you can be assured that He will not spare harsh judgment upon America! The enemy will glory in our destruction. It couldn't be more obvious that America is going into judgment today. Our churches are apostate. Our economy is bankrupt. Our schools are Communist centers of indoctrination, sexual perversion and humanism. Children are being taught to sin, despise Christianity and give their unquestioning loyalty to the government. Central government is Godless humanism.
People don't think a police state can happen here, but it's happening now. The day is coming when red meat will be scarce. Drinkable water will be scarce. Food will be so expensive that few will be able to afford it. Most people will be forced to live in government housing, because no one will be able to afford a home and ridiculously high property taxes. Our national debt is critical. The reckless spending and theft by Wall Street and Washington cannot continue without adversely affecting our nation, and so it is even now.
Harlotry, adultery and
wine are commonplace in Washington. Liars abound in America.
Crookedness is everywhere these days. You can't trust anyone
anymore.
What's Important To You?
Jesus foretold that MANY will hate and betray one another in the end times. We certainly appear to be living in such times. As the police state advances, neighbor will betray neighbor to the Beast system of the coming Antichrist. We are moving toward a cashless society, where a mark-scan will be needed to buy or sell in stores or restaurants. In these Last Days the things of God should be important to every believer.
People go along to get along because liberty is not important to them. Only 40 of the 535 members of congress voted against the treasonous NDAA law. Do you know why they don't care? It's because the public doesn't care. It's wrong on the part of congress, but the reason they don't care is because most people don't care. Wicked people follow the trend, the group, the popular consensus. A God-fearing Christian is willing to stand alone if need be. The hallmark of being right with God is individuality, the willingness to stand alone for God. Groups never accomplish anything for God. It's always an individual that inspires a group to serve God. God calls a man, not a committee or board. Groups sell out. That's why I hate denominational conventions. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) went corrupt decades ago, and all the small ships are sinking with the mother ship.
You'll find that in history it was always a man that accomplished things for God. Behind the 53 translators of the King James Bible is one man, king James. Behind the 12 apostles is one man, the God-man, Christ Jesus. It was one prophet, Elijah, who stood up against the 400 prophets of Baal. It was one man, Moses, who led the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt.
In Ezekiel 22:30 God said, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” God wasn't looking for a group of men; but rather, just one man! Even one drop makes waves in a pail of water. God can change the world through one man. God couldn't find a man because no man cared. Serving God wasn't important to any man at the time. God sought, but couldn't find.
Oftentimes several generations will pass without seeing the hand of God at work because God seeks but cannot find a man. In Noah's time, one man preached the gospel for 120-years prior to the flood. God didn't come to Noah and his sons; God only came to Noah (one man). God always uses one man, the individual. Are you that individual? God is doing great works around the world today through individual men. Won't you surrender to go for the Lord, preaching the Word of God and standing in the gap before Him in prayer for the land?
My friend, the world is going to fade away. 1st John 2:15-17 says that the world will pass away and all the pride of life, the lust of the eyes, and the lust of the flesh. I feel sorry for people who are living a big lie. All of the good times in life amount to nothing in eternity. I am reminded of many famous singers, actors and musicians who are now dead. They spent their lives singing, acting and playing music, but where are they now? Every day tens-of-thousands of people in this world die and pass into eternity. Most of them go to Hell according to Matthew 7:13-14. The highway to Hell is broad, but the pathway to Heaven is narrow.
